Exaclty. For that level 60 mgikarp i had to pay 59000. I had it at level 1 newly bred XD

Guys, we're getting offtopic here...

So I'm creating one ;)

What are, in your opinion, the most underrated Water Pokémon in the games or in battling? (and maybe in anime/manga too?)

Goldeen. In the games. I've never bothered using it. Seaking as well. If I remember right, it's got crappy SpAtk and that makes me want to use another pokémon if I need a water type on my team.

But I'm glad Misty used a Goldeen many times in the anime :3

Great Question! ^^

-Krabby & Kingler. Ash only used his once & it was never heard from again :/

I'm not sure about in the games, seeing as that really depends on the trainer.

It was hear of again. It evolved into Kingler, right? And as Krabby, it was seen many times living at Oak's ^^
I've never used Krabby/Kingler. They too have to too low SpAtk for my taste...as far as I can remember!

What are, in your opinion, the most underrated Water Pokémon in the games or in battling? (and maybe in anime/manga too?) again..

Also, Mantine (it's called that, right? XD). I want to use one in Crystal now, but for now I've got Gyarados and am content with that one :p I think I heard of Mantine getting an upswing with the coming of baby Mantyke, but I don't know for sure?

In the Pokémon Adventures manga though, the Johto protagonist, Gold, has one and it could fly~ 8D (with the help of remoraids under its "wings") It's luvable.

Im suprised no one said lovdisc! I hate that thing for its tendacy to be absofrikenlutely useless.

That's true... and it's spelled Luvdisc :3

Remoraid! And Octillery. Haven't seen an Octillery in the games :| And not in the anime. Maybe not even in the manga! The manga's usually very good when it comes to giving stage light to under-used Pokémon :/

Maybe we didn't want to mention all of them at once? And you just say what pokémon you "hate", you don't say anything about them being underrated :s

what about poliwag lol but hey you gotta love magikarp...aah so powerful..
I love Poliwag :D I don't think it's very underrated either. It does evolve into Poliwrath/Politoed after all. In the PokéSpe manga, it feels like everyone has a Poliwag (at least two protagonists have >.<) and Misty had one in the anime. And I often use Poliwag/Poliwhirl in the games. So I wouldn't call Poliwag underrated, since many I know have it... but it differs from person to person, probably :)

WHat are you talking about???!!! everyone knows that splash is the strongest atack in the whole game!!! A choice banded splash kills a mewtwo in one hit!
Magikarp is overpowered, in my opinion they should make it weaker

ok ok i see your point now on poliwag lol...then what about qwilfish?? i've never had or used one...omg i better go find one now i feel sad lmao. man my level 100 darkrai got beat by a level 23 magikarp, the battle was so intense!

I don't many are underrated but I do think some are overrated, I would say Dewgong is underrated in the anime though.

Lots. Magikarp and Feebas the Lame. Luvdisc and Remoraid plus Corsola too!

How can someone say chinchou? I mean it evolves into the only water type with an electric type as well. A true formidable foe. And wtf lotad is the best. Ludicolo is mexican based after all...

I agree with Mitchman Lanturn can be very useful in water team specially because of Volt Absorb

And i always have a team with 3 water types. Empoleon swampert and lanturn. Without those 3 i would be really in trouble.

I'm trying to break away from the all water team >__< So all I have on my team is Vaporeon & Poliwrath

A 6 water poke team is nice since their second type usually give them great type coverage!
