I agree. I can't find any obvious flaws, and you emulated the style very well.

thanks for the point outs, i'll try to fix the mistakes, and honestly, i used Vulpix, Cyndiquil,Mew, Flareon, and Ponyta for this pokemon.
plus, i'm still kinda new to the whole sprite modification schtick (one year) so i will try to improve as I can.

Edit: here it is, I hope i worked out all of the bugs.

I think you need to read the rules...

You need more than four seperate sprites posted to have a thread.

Not to mention, instead of putting in a pesky thumbnail, you could have waiten until you had fifteen posts to put up your work. This isn't to be mean, but it just ensures that you know what is expected before you put up your own.

As for the sprite it'self, it is an edit of moltres if i'm not mistaken? it isn't all too bad either, you just need to work on the shading of the wings and the body a bit more. it is too edgy, and it needs to be in the top left of the sprite.

The beak is way too edgy. it comes out of the head at a perfect horizontal line, and it is super awkward looking. definetly do go back and angle it better, look a molres' to see how i mean by angling it. the eye is also too flat against the head. the head in general is too flat looking, maybe because there's not enough shading...but in general it's just flat...

your coloration was good, and the editing, aside from the head, aren't bad either. Just work on the head, look at some shading and outlining tutorials, and your sprites will be a million times better! ^_^

Okay, I cleaned up a rough 30 second drawing I did in paint, and I got this:

It's a crocodile/alligator/large three-toed lizard, if you couldn't tell. Criticism please? I prefer getting all the large problems in the outline fixed before I start on the details and shading. XD

I realize the outline on the back & tail is kinda.. rough, but it's supposed to be a big bumpy lizard thing, so I guess it kinda works XD

Also, I loathe the legs, and, to a lesser extent, the feet. Any ideas? I guess I could change the pose kinda, and put them closer to the body? I don't know.

Hi. Does anyone know where I can find the maps of the inside of the Jungle Relic from Pokémon Ranger? I need them for a spriting project I might do if I can find them.

This is my first scratch sprite ever:

Spectroak
Grass/Ghost
A tiny, timid spirit that has possessed a tree for both protection and snaring small birds who try to make its tree home for food. It's incredibly slow, but the rest of its stats are above average.

I know it's not shaded, but I was wondering if I could get some help on how to shade it. I'm also looking for some ideas to "spruce" it up a bit so it doesn't just look like a tree with an eye.

The tree thing could use some shading...
from what i can tell there isn't any.
i like the green aura thing. just add some shading and it will be top notch.

Pokémon Pinball icons turned into sprites:

I found a site that displayed Pokémon Pinball pokémon icons, so I set to work changing them into something more spritey that I will probably use in my trainer cards. I scratched all the parts to turn them into what they are, accept of course what is contained in the black boxes.

Old sprites with new colours:

Old sprites with the latest sprite's colour pallette and a few slight changes, not enough to be called revamps though.

Fakémon created from 12 different pokémon:

My first fakémon. Sorta like eevee. Un-named so far and lack a base sprite.

Batman:

Yeah...

Anime Rocket member:
"image removed"
Game Rocket Member changed into the outfit in the anime.

Hehe, funny Electrode...
Is cool though.
The re-colours are cool too, just on some of them the outline's a bit weird. Maybe get rid of the black and replace it with a darker shade of purple. It looks like there's a lot of breaks in the outline.
They're good though.
