…really? o_o; Well then maybe we can get serious about getting the seniors to check it, at least until someone shows promise.

...how many times have you said that the seniors will check it? And how many times has that proven to not happen? -_-;;

Well that's true. But I'll make a HQ thread this time and make diligent efforts to myself. I was, but then the whole…quitting thing. It's not like we have a better solution atm. =\

*pokes Steve for HQ access tomorrow*

*sees thread is now talking about Maca* -_-; ph34r the OT.

And Mina, you aren't an active webbie. -_-;

~ MCG (Because Claire was upped and as normal, as soon as you're upped you ignore the forums you were mod in)
I've actually said that i'll keep an eye on MCG for now, so i wont ignore them :\

Since erica has been smodded, id be in support of a new mod in webbies -we'll see what suggestions come up.

We also need to find better Mods for ROM hacking. I see a lot of arguments occuring in there that none of the Mods seem to care about.

Yah!! We need a New Mod For ROM hacking.
Reasons
---5 Forums and only 2 Mods
---DAC and Jeremy cant be on all the time
---The only Upper staff who visits there is Jake and he visits only his fav threads
---Toooo much Newbes There.Really Oly Newbie hacks are all around!
---You Guys Might want to consider this!

I think somebody disagrees, CC. I don't care, but I got a bad rep for that post.

IMO, there are three forums that need mods: New Users, Webbies, and ROM Hacking. They're all fairly active and there's just too much for the mods of those forums to handle.

New Users isn't really all that bad to begin with. We get maybe.... 3 reports tops in there every week. That's mostly just for reviving old threads. =\ Really, I think it's fine how it is.

And we're working on a Webbies mod, don't worry.. ^_^;

Wha? Reports in a forum for newbies? Now that's just sad, considering it's supposed to be a place to welcome members...

Of course, then you have the "I'm leaving" threads, the occasional "OMG I cant gte teh legndry dog!!111oneshiftone lol" (XD), and of course the ever-popular "OMG IT's ERIKA'S WELcom thread!!111" (yes, I know I spelled your name wrong, Erica) :P

See, Aino, it's moronic stuff like that that gets reported in New Users. Not the "I'm new where do I get a card for my siggy?!?!" (or at least I don't report those, because they're just that- newbies that haven't gotten to know PC)

Errr... I'm sorry
But are you guys Considering ROM Hacking!

IMO, I think Mixed Community Groups needs 1 or 2 new Mods because:

1. Now that DF dadragonz is a S-Mod, that forum is Mod-less.
2. It's a very active forum.

Claire has already said that she will still be checking the area as much as she did when she modded it. If there was to be a new mod for the area I doubt that it would be a new mod seeing as how we've had to many lately....<---I was the last mod ;;>>

i know, we shouldnt come down so hard on the n00bs, especially if they have never been a member of a forum b4
we should wait until they become regular members with abut 30 posts under their belt b4 we report them, if you crack down on them that hard when they didnt know any better, then in my eyes you are no better than them.
how would you feel if someone reported you and got you offically warned when you didnt know any better?

Nope, members are supposed to read the rules when they first sign up...seems no one does. Also post count means nothing, just a pretty lil' number, it shouldn't have anything to do with how you are treated.

I agree wtih Blue. Post count shouldn't matter. Besides, most people who break the rules often do it with blatan disregard. IMO, There should be a warning period for all members, new or otherwise, But that doesn't mean they should be let off the hook. Make a warning system like a school would have. Give them so many warnings and after that last warning any other infringements on the rules colul result in more extreme measures. I'm not saying that's the way it shoudl eb though. Just a possible method for thought. :\
