That's why I want to buy it soon. Sad that I'll have to start again but hey at least I know how to achieve things so it will be faster.


I am a noob at all of this steam stuff, if I do a steam account on my laptop and then I'll switch to a desktop, will I loose my game? Or I can continue everywhere I go?

If you're using the same account I think Steam Cloud should take care of that - you should be able to play the same file between both. :)

Yeah the reeling game can be tricky, especially when you are dealing with creatures like the squid or sturgeon that rapidly move all over the column. It gets a lot easier when you buy the most expensive fishing rod (like 7k or 7.5k) and can equip a tackle or bobber. I never go fishing without it xD

I've bought the game on Steam and... surprise! I haven't lost my game, but now all the bugs are fixed !! :D

I guess I should finally try to get past level 10 of the Skull Caverns, but man, it's brutal. I don't know how people reach the bottom there in a day, there aren't even elevators. D:

I managed to restore the Community Center yesterday, so now I plan on spending most of my time in the game making my farm look nice for the competition and planting a bunch of crops to save up one million dollars for the

My community Center is going well, there is the updates for the curious (may contain Spoilers)

The animal bundle and the quality crops are almost done.
I'll probably be done with the fish tank in fall (currently in summer now)
I'll have to wait a bit more for the artisan bundle tho. I have 3 trees but they aren't mature yet.
Chef's bundle only miss one other thing, I'll have it in a few days.
Dye Bundle only miss the red cabbage, and they are currently growing.
Fodder bundle, well I'll have the apple in fall.
Enchanter's bundle, this one is a bigger problem for me. I'm missing the pomegranate and the rabbit foot.Well I don't think I've plant a pomegranate tree yet so I'll have to wait for another year......... My community center won't be done before fall year 3...

Hum that's a hard question...
Any of them, really.
You grow crops, built barns, raise animals, rise friendship with the villagers, choose someone you can marry, have a child, go mining, go fishing... It's really the essence of Harvest Moon :) in 2D.

Hmm, probably the Harvest Moon DS ones, in terms of its features. Like customizable farm area (as in you build everything from the coops and the barns within the area of your farm to your own liking), the mining game (the whole fighting monsters, mining rocks, advance through stairs. AFAIK no other games in the series has monster fighting aside from DS)... and the rest is like the other harvest moon games.

But trust me, there's too much stuff to do in the game it's ridiculous.

When you start the game and enter a name, select a gender, name farm, etc. The thing you entered as your favourite thing is used for stardrops. In my case, it was anime.

It's your resolution in the settings. There's also an option to zoom in/out underneath it. For me, I had to emulate 4k just to see my entire farm.

Alternatively you could also use https://stardew.info/planner/ to see what your farm could look like.
