Okay instead of the glitchy emerald roms out there, I am using Emerald 386. Hopefully I can get that Jynx before the Elite Four. If not, I might need to find a new ugly Pokemon and due to my lack of water type, I may switch from cradily to Omastar or Kabutops:/
I started though and got a Houndour as my starter :)

• Defeated Norman (Fruits lv45, Dots lv36, Tops lv27)
• Helped Wattson with his Power Plant shenanigans
• Did a lot of grinding
• Tops evolved to Claydol at Route 106
• Caught Wings the Tropius (Cut, Fly, Strength, Flash HM Slave) at Route 119
• Defeated Shelly
• Obtained Clouds the Castform at Route 119 from the Weather Institute guys
• Beat May yet again
• Reached Fortree City
• Did a lot of grinding again; man, getting party members at such a late time is hard
• I just realized, my order of filling my party was Coal > Present > Coal > Present > Coal > Present
• Caught Spells the Shuppet at Route 121
• Only one party member left! My favourite Pokémon in the Hoenn Dex: Lanturn!
• Reached Lilycove City
• Did a lot of grinding yet again; there's just no end to this, huh?
• Reached Mt. Pyre for the second time after a roundabout through Route 123
• This time I'm entering it, though

Okay, update number two!

-Trained up Jingle the paras in Mt Moon/on the trainers in Misty's gym
-Tried to take on Misty's gym with my underleveled paras and nidorina, wiped out :(
-Took on Scrooge (my rival) with Holly the nidorina and jingle the paras
-Caught an oddish and named her Poinsettia (for when she's a vileplume)
-Holly reached level 22 and learned bite, so I evolved her and she then learned body slam
-Trained up Poinsettia on the Hikers near Bill's cottage
-Took On Misty with just Poinsettia, who grew two levels in the process
-Got Dig Tm from Rocket guy
-Poinsetta evolved into a gloom, now her name kind of makes sense!
-Made it to Viridian with the whole team paralyzed except for Jingle who I had to switch out from due to all the flying types the trainers have on route 6! >_<
-Trained up Jingle in Diglett Cave
-Stopped Jingle from evolving, so that she could learn spore at the next level, and then let her evolve

Okay, that's all for now! I'm a little tired of playing due to all of the the training that just went down. Hopefully next time I'm able to get one or two new teammates! But probably not lol

Alright, took me slightly longer than planned to pick my team, but I finally got my team set.

NFE: Piplup (I'll need it for the first gym)

• Did a little grinding; it's just that insta-rain for Clouds is hard to come by these days
• Flew back to Lavaridge Town, down the ledges, in a cable car
• Proceeded out to Mt. Chimney, south to Jagged Pass and finally, to the Magma Hideout
• Defeated Tabitha
• Witnessed the awakening of Groudon; and what else?
• Oh right, defeated Maxie, lol
• Flew back to Slateport City, watched Team Aqua steal Capt. Stern's sub
• Went on a little sidequest involving SilverPowder for Fruits
• Caught Spoils the Kecleon (for Thief, which I wasted as a temporary STAB for Dots) at Route 120
• Flew back to Fallarbor Town, taught Spoils the move Thief via the Heart Scale guy
• Flew back to Lilycove City, past Route 121 to Bug Maniac Jeffrey of Route 120
• Rematched Jeffrey four times
• Stole SilverPowder from Jeffrey's Masquerain the fourth time
• Did a little more grinding; also looked for wild Shuppet with Spell Tag and stole with Spoils
• Finally, flew back to Lilycove City again, down the ledges, across the beach
• Surfed across the water to the Aqua Hideout-- definitely a lot easier to access than Magma's
• Got the Master Ball! Sweet!
• Defeated Matt; "Hehehe!"
• Surfed across the big blue <3
• Reached Mossdeep City; admired the Mossdeep Space Center
• Defeated Tate and Liza (Fruits lv48, Clouds lv48, Tops lv49, Spells lv49, Dots lv49)
• Gave Dots a Leaf Stone (since he already learned his last move in its learnset, Extrasensory)
• Dots evolved to Shiftry in Mossdeep City Gym just like he did back in Rustboro City Gym :D
• But wait, I'm not ending this update without my final party member!
• Saw Maxie with a line of Team Magma Grunts
• Beat the Team Magma Grunt with the Baltoy, which is proof that Claydol fits its category ;D
• Proceeded to have one of the coolest battles in the history of paradox space
• Defeated Maxie and Tabitha while partnered with that awesome guy Steven :D
• Received Dive from Steven, too! Now I'll finally be able to catch my last party member!
• Found out Victory Road requires Strength, Flash, Rock Smash and Waterfall :O
• Caught Lakes the Psyduck (HM Slave for Victory Road) in Safari Zone
• Flew back to Mossdeep, surfed west across the big blue, and dived underwater
• Searched for a Volt Absorb Chinchou for a long time; Spells levels up in the process
• Caught Lights the Chinchou underwater, finally! Let's get this party started. \o/
• Did some more grinding; I have to get Lights up to speed with the rest of the party soon.
• Healed back in Mossdeep City
