Stop getting Metapod wrong

Lol, i knew that!!!

METAPOD IS NOT USELESS!!! Its evolves into butterfry right? Loads of peoplke have it on their team! But maybe its just i have a thing for useless pokemon (MAGIKARP FTW!!!)
 
It has always looked sad to me. Metapods eye lids are up-turned, implying an expression of sadness. Come on, gaiz. You don't have to be an artist to know this.

How anyone can mistake that for an angry face is beyond me.
 
It's cause he isn't pretty! Sad little meta....XD
 
I still choose to see him the other way. It's like he's saying, "Make one more joke about my big nose and I will ****in' tackle you in the kidneys!!"
 
I never did figure that one out until I saw it in the Anime...
I was like, "Why do they keep showing it's back?"
 
LMAO. I just realized that everyone who is seeing an angry face thought that Meta's back was the front. 8DDD Sorry about that.When you view him from that perspective he does look angry, haha.

Yeah, I got slightly confused, too. The concave (or angry) side is his back, and apparently it's often mistaken to be his front. The convex (or sad) side is his true face.

It still doesn't change the fact that it will be named penis and taught harden/string shot.
 
You're all wrong, Metapod is happy it was created this way otherwise nobody would ever mention its name. Kakuna anyone?
 
i never even pictured it having a mouth.... just bored eyes
 
No matter how hard I try I can only make sense of him with an angry face, but I always found Kakuna easier to look at anyway.
 
When I was younger and I saw its sprites, I thought that it had an angry face. Then I saw the anime and was like, "Whoa. So that's the front of a Metapod?"

So, now I see it the right way.

i never really thought it looked sad but i've always thought that the "sad side" was the front. but maybe it was designed to look like an optical illusion? :D or not..
