    So I got tired of Pork Chops this week.

    Today was rather a stressful day in school. Traffic on Third Avenue, then there was traffic on the freeway on my way to Fry's Electronics store (where I met my Linux/7 class today). Two hours at Fry's, then I stumbled to traffic again. Ended up running out of gas in the middle of transitioning from I-15 to I-5. >_<

    But I made it back to school in time, though.

    THAT'S NOT ALL. We had a surprise pop quiz today, and I didn't even bring my book. I didn't even plan to bring my book, nor did I study. I guess this could be the first of the pop quizzes that I'll be flunking. >_>

    Then there's traffic again on Third Avenue.

    I'm too stressed. Stress gives me a headache. And to relieve it, I either go home and take a nap, or go to a fast-food restaurant. I'm at Burger King eating myself some chicken tenders, fries, and a Dr. Pepper. This is not me, because I rarely eat at fast-food restaurants.

    If you're stressed, like me, how do you beat it?

    Now my chicken tenders are getting cold....*noms*

    ... that's an interesting question! I've never really thought about it. I can't eat nor sleep when stressed. I guess what I typically do is distract myself. Either with something I enjoy watching, or with music. Sometimes I cry when stressed because I'm manly like that, or I get mad and ragerant. Either way, it usually works out. :D;

    I take coma-naps.

    They're like normal naps, except when I'm so stressed out, absolutely nothing wakes me from them. It's like my body just shuts down to give myself time to recuperate for a bit. I won't even be tired when I lay down for them either... it's probably odd, but hey, they help. As long as there is no dangerous weather outside that could kill me while I slumber.

    But yeah, sometimes I go the comfort food route too. Mostly I'll just drink a Dr. Pepper though. Gotta stop and have a soda every once in a while.

    I'm like a stereotypical teenage girl in that shopping strangely relieves me of stress. Whether it's buying food or DVDs or even clothes, I think the feeling of control and power in each purchase gives me a feeling of comfort. Most of the time, food is fine: it's a cheap option and such; plus, it gives me a reason to go to the gym to try and work the energy off!

    Sleeping is the only thing that helps me most of the time to combat stress. :x I've come to discover that brief naps during midday work wonders as well. :<
