What is your favorite subject in school?

My favorites are science and English.

Min are...hmmm Adv.World history (the only class i have ever been intersested in)

I love Chemistry and Astronomy only in the Science area. I don't know why, but it's just so easy to me! I've always done well with the Periodic Table since I first learned it in sixth grade so I guess it's still with me. ^_^ I also like Drama and Math, but not as much as the Sciences...even though it is my passion to be in plays and musicals or anything on stage.

Dude science rules! XD i luv science!

Math, cause it makes sense and once you have basic functions down it?s really just an exercise, nothing much to remember or be exacting with. o.o

I like Science because we study interesting things, right now oceanography, and I choose sharks, so I got to draw a VERY, VERY, VERY, bloody picture of a shark eating a human in progress :dead: }:)

~PGN, Being eaten by a shark :dead:

Portuguese and World History II and maybe Chemistry are the bomb classes for me, I get to chill with my friends, and their my best classes :) .

Hmmm...well, I just have to say that I am really a band nerd at heart! I really love music, which is why I am studying it full time now at school. I play French horn (my main instrument), as well as bass guitar, and some trumpet and trombone. I can also play violing and percussion fairly well...

English has to come in as a close second though! I love to write and read!

I enjoy english...reading's actually pretty fun (as long as it's a good book...)

*leers at english teacher for making us read 1984*

Wow, you're really quite talented if you can play all those instruments! I can play the Tenor Saxophone....... that's pretty much it hehe.........
I'm not staying in band next year though, (lousy teacher) so I'm going for art. That should prove to be fun!

English is my favorite class in school, even though I'm rather sick of all this Romeo and Juliet stuff hehe...

I used to play Violin... It was pretty cool and came in handy for my grandmothers 60th Birthday *thank god*... It's not that hard, it was actually pretty fun!

Heh, I hated our teacher too, but my mom made me stay in band becuase "it looks good for college". (Which I personally think it dosn't look all that great if you have two hours or so of band a day, unless you plan on majoring in music.) Art sounds like fun, some of my friends have it. I wish I would have taken it, but band takes up almost all my elective classes. "/

My favorite subject... well, it would probably have to be math and Spanish. Only because those are my two best classes. I'm okay a science too but I've had teachers in the past that caused me to really dislike it now. Chorus is another fun class... it's just so easy! And most of my friends are in it with me too.

As for band... I played the flute for five years. It was fun but I got tired of it. I wish I continued... but it's too late now. Even if I was to take it up again it would mess up my schedule so bad. So I'll still with chorus instead...

Our teacher is always tired, never actually does anything with us, and from what I hear he drinks.

Not exactly the kind of director I had in mind hehe...
I loved my middle school teacher though. He was so funny! He had the perfect blend of humor and displince, that made each class a new adventure. He was great!
Well, I wouldn't say that. As long as you have some musical experience, I can imagine it would be rather nice for both college, and your resume.
I always wanted to go into art.... I'm an okay artist, but I've always wanted to get better! Next year, I'm taking art, and Spanish to get my last credit for it. Either that, or Driver's Ed.
Huh? Do you have more then one band elective?

Oh, and it's nice to meet you! I don't believe we've ever talked before hehe...

    My favorites: Math and art

Math is my best subject...period. It's the one subject that everyone envies me for. I'm going to take AP Calculus next year. My precal teacher recommended me for it because I had an A straight through my whole semester in his class.

Art is cool. My teacher thinks I have great potential (he's the first person to say that to me after looking at one of my "crappy anime" sketches). I've also been in a few scholastic art contests where I won quite a bit of schlolarship money ^_^ My teacher has recommended me froe AP studio art next year. I've seen the curriculum and it seems very easy.

I'm also interested in social studies, especially U.S. History and government. you guessed it, my histiry teacher recommended me for AP government for next year too.

Algebra is fun! At least it's so much better than geometry! I can't stand geometry... or my teacher. I practically fall asleep in that class everyday. Apparently I have a test or something in that class tomorrow... I didn't even know about it until this morning. Not that knowing about it will actually get me to study for it though. I just hope there aren't any proofs on it... not that they're hard, it's just that I don't want to have to do them! I miss algebra II from last year. At least that class didn't put me to sleep. And solving equations was fun... as long as I could use my trusty calculator of course! Anyways... I just can't wait to get out of geometry and into my honors pre-calculus class next year... hopefully the honors level weeded out some people in my class... this year we have 28 I think... which is pretty big for an honors math class. I hate big classes...

Oh, and it's nice to meet you! I don't believe we've ever talked before hehe...

Our band teacher talks about the same thing every day. She compares everything we do in band to driving, which gets so annoying after the first couple times she metions it. She also gives us lots of too hard music, and yells at us for not being able to play it. And the day before a concert, she had a sub, and we didn't reherse at all. Instead we watched some cartoon movie with "great music" in it.

Next year I will have regular band, and marching band. I don't see why they are two seperate classes, but they are. And you need to take regular band to be in marching band, and my mom is making me be in marching band, so I have no room for electives. Wait, I do, but I want to take French, and that fills up the other hour elective that I have. This year I only have one, but I was also a student aide, and Life Skills was a required class, and that left me with no elective semesters.

I guess some music would look good, but at the rate I'm going, I'm not going to be able to fit in some computer classes, or anything besides a language, band, and PE (required). I guess it would be ok for college, but the same thing year after year would get boring.

Nice to meet you too, lol.

I think it's fun as long as you understand how to do the equations. It's never fun to struggle with them, but once you get it, it is fun to do. I also like to say it outload to confuse my sisters and make them think I'm really smart, even though I'll be doing a simple equation, lol.
