Super Pokémon Hangman!

Could be something along the lines of S, M, or L, much like with Experience Candy S / M / L / XL. Might hit the last letter with an 'L', so...
_________

'L' as in Landorus, please.
A hit!
Sorry, a miss.

_ - _ _ E E L

Strikes: 2/8
Guesses: E, L, R, S

Probably Wheel then...

Could just be A Wheel, but I kinda doubt it.
I think the last new PMD game predates Alola so probably not something like Z Wheel.
Could be anything for the first letter as an abbreviation. K Wheel, C Wheel, Etc.
P for Pokemon maybe? Idk.

P ?

Might as well confirm Wheel. Could be a size or B for Bicycle for the first letter. Would not be surprised at something like X, either, much like with X-Scissor.
_______

'W', please.
A hit! But...
I guess "V-Wheel" as the word.
Correct! V-Wheel is Victini's gambling wheel for chance to set new V-Wave for day in Gates! V-Wave is like a boost for random Pokèmon type

Your turn to make a puzzle!

Not -er, -es, or -ed for the ending. Not Sinistea. Probably only one vowel left, barring a vowel ending.

Could be a lot of things at the start still: Style-, Slice-, Shape-, Scale-, Stage-, Slime-, Swipe-, and more. Would not be surprised to see two hits on more letters, particularly on the letter after the 'S'es.

Thought about this being a double word. Offers kind of poor choices for that theory. What would the last part be, then? -stem? -stew? Hm. Increases the odds of a vowel ending.
_____

'L' as in Lair, please.
