Super Smash Bros.: Rescue Among Worlds

Risa was plumped on the couch, intensely playing the adventure mode on her used game, Super Smash Bros Melee. Risa had been working hard to complete the game, since she had just recently bought it and was far behind everyone else. She didn't have the money for the brand new games, so she was stuck with the old games for the gamecube.

Just as she was about to reach to Masterhand, her game suddenly shut off. Risa suddenly felt fearful because she was home alone and she assumed that the power went out; which didn't make sense to her because it was cloudless outside. Slowly, she crawls off of the couch and over to her gamecube. She repeatedly presses the power button but nothing happens.

"Aw come on..." She mumbled as she continued to press the button. "I was so close too.."

The message that was sent to a select few popped up on the television which made Risa jump up in fright. She crawled backwards until her back pressed up against the couch that she was once sitting on. She didn't know who Ike was, but she could easily recognize the two princesses. She listened to the message, but felt very confused at what was even going on.

"W-what? Is this in the game or something?" Risa tilted her head in confusion as she listened to the rest of the message.

Before Risa could do or say anything, she was taken through the TV into a completely different location.

(I was unsure if I should of said that she was already pulled through the TV, but if not then I can just erase the last sentence.)

Sapphire listened to Princess Zelda. Each word she spoke only brought further shock into her head. "Whoa whoa whoa! My mommy warned me about this! Isn't this something like drugs... IT's called erm." Sapphire took a moment to think about it. "Tripping!" She announced, but appeared as though the characters were paying no attention to her. All of a sudden she was feeling a strange pull on her body. She struggled against it, but it did not work. The power was too strong for her to fight against and she was soon pulled through her television screen, hanging on to her wiimote for dear life. As Sapphire traveled through the mysterious tunnel she looked around her. She saw a Pokémon trainer along side Ness' friend Lucas. As she went further she passed Mario who reached out a hand towards her. She was going to grab on to it, but the tunnel had forbidden her. She was now traveling through clouds in a dark sky. A young boy with a halo and angelic wings was flying next to her, he too offered her a hand. She reached out to grab it, but once again the tunnel had forbidden her.

She found herself floating along side the speedy hedgehog sonic. Her eyes widened but he just winked at her and she suddenly jolted back up into the sky, not before following the outline of a mountain. Meta knight and ice climbers were rushing up there and at the tip top was a lucario starring her down. Wizzing past her came Fox's air ships but there was not much time to see all the other wanders of this word. The tunnel brought her down to the ground and she saw the infamous character from the Zelda games, Link. He reached out a hand for her but once again she could not connect with him. Then suddenly the tunnel shot her out as though she was a bullet.

"Look out!"She screamed the the expecting person, but it was already too late. Sapphire had made a crash landing on the blue haired male. She stood up and observed her surroundings. Nothing but crumbled waist of what looked to be mountains, that stretched up high into the fog filled sky. She then turned around and looked at the person she had crashed into.

"I'm so sorry!" She rushed over to him and offered out a hand. He looked up at her, rubbing his chest where she'd hit. "I-I-I-I-Ike?!" She exclaimed, not believing that he was the one she bumped into. "Amazing!" She helped him up immediately. "I'm so sorry I bumped into you! Please forgive me!" Sapphire screamed.

"T-That's alright." He said coughing into his hand.

(OOC: Was I meant to choose who I was put with? :S)

Shocked that the Princess did not remark on Dara's lack of strength, she slide her arm off the television and into her lap. Even though she had been warned time and time again not to do this, she pressed her face against the television. The brightness hurt her eyes, and she had to draw back quickly. Beneath her breath, she scolded herself for doing something so foolish. What good had that done anyways? Recovering from a temporary blindness, she continued to listen to Princess Zelda. None of it made sense. Was she imagining this?

"I have to be dreaming.." She murmured.

Moving up her shirt sleeve, she pinched herself. Dara felt the pain from the pinch and saw the temporary redness it left behind. She wasn't dreaming. Doubting herself still, she thought she might be having some hallucination... or seizure. But this was all too real. It had to be.

"This is insane-"

Before Dara could finish speaking, she felt her body tingle. Instantly, she was pulled inside the screen. There was no way for Dara to resist it, no matter how many times she jerked and twisted. She found herself floating down a narrow terminal, almost like one from an airport of railway. A bright light enveloped everything. She could hardly see what or who she was near.

"Was that Mario...? She whispered to herself, but she got no answer.

Again, she passed numerous Nintendo characters, all beaming at her as she traveled downwards. It was hard to tell if they were speaking to her or just moving their lips. Dara could not understand any of it. This had to be a dream. It was almost impossible for this to be happening. Before Dara had a chance to contemplate any further, she landed square onto the ground.

"Ouch..." She cried, rubbing her bottom.

Standing up, she dusted her body off. She tried to get a good look around her. She was unsure of where she was, but decided it best to explore around her. Pushing a strand of her out of her eyes, Dara wandered down a narrow path, nervous as to what might be lurking around.

Nathan ignorantly listened to what the princesses was telling him.interrupting her in the middle of a sentence"OK.....OK..Listen I'm not really into all... of this" Nathan exclaimed to them."So iam just gonna walk away now...and pretend like none of this ever happened ok. Cya" Nathan said standing up and walking away. But suddenly he begin to be suck towards the TV. He begin to start floating into the air "Wha....Whats going on. put me down!!"Nathan yelled as he begin to enter the TV.Nathan struggled not to go into the TV.He grabbed the table. In it flip over as it begin to lift in the air causing his Wii Zappers to go into the TV. He was forced into the TV"Ahhhhh....." Nathan yelled as he entered the TV.

He went flying through a tunnel seeing all kinds of characters. He head spin in all directions as warriors and animals of all kinds spoke to him. Nathan was left speechless.Than a brighter light blinded him for a second. As he regained his eyesight he looked around " Wow its so barren here" Nathan thought to himself looking around.Nathan stood up off the ground and begin patting himself down to get the dirt off his clothes."Huff..well i better get to walking" Nathan reluctantly said as he begin walking.

@UraharaSteph: You can, as Mario, Link, and Ike are NPCs

Miyoko was confused. What was did she mean? "Now this sounds a little weird..." she admitted, but before she could say anything else, she was pulled through the screen she was currently looking at. "Aaahhh!" She screamed as she went through the portal. This was really happening? She would really save her favorite video game characters? She saw many people, including a favorite of hers. Then there was a flash, and suddenly she was lying on the ground.

"Ugh..." she stood up, and looked around. "This is odd..." Miyoko mumbled to herself. She then looked at a strange path. "I probably should start going there. It's time for saving!" She cheered, and ran down it. Hopefully she could find others that might aid her.

sorry for being late....

Leon woke up in a daze, as he was in a strange meadow He'd had never seen before.
"where am I?" he asked himslef. Then he heard werid noise that went "Pika."
Then He saw a yellow mouse thing running past him.
"was that a...Pikachu"
Leon whatched as the Pikachu smashed into green dinosaur with a flying headbutt to the torso. The green dino yelled out "Yoshi!"
"Is this one strange dream or is this for real?"

Risa found herself to be outside, which was confusing to her because she couldn't remember what exactly happened. She walked around, trying to figure out where she was. She knew that she wasn't anywhere near her home because no place near her was so open and abandoned.

She wondered around for what felt like hours to her when it was only ten minutes. She began to feel slightly scared, but she felt more frustrated then frightened. Risa grumbled to herself as she walked aimlessly around the area, hoping to find someone to help guide her home. However, there was not a single sign of anyone from where she was standing.

Risa sighed and continued to walk around. She wasn't paying much attention to the details of where she was walking. This caused her to walk right into a young girl*. Their heads collided which caused Risa to fall into the dirt. She clenched onto her head, feeling the annoying pain of a headache. She looked up with one eye opened and noticed that she had walked into someone.

"I-I'm sorry!" She rushed over to her and made sure that there wasn't any kind of blood loss or bruises. "I really am, I wasn't paying any attention to where I was going."

*= Vanilla Kitsune, Risa ran into your character

It was evening, and dinnertime was probably going to arrive soon. But Yamiko hoped that dinnertime would be late, for she was busy playing her favourite video game, Kirby Super Star Ultra, on her DS. Actually, this was the only video game she had. Yamiko lived in an orphanage, and had done so for just a few months, after the police took her away from her homeless father. There, she only had one friend: a twelve-year-old boy named Edwin. Edwin was nicer to her than all of the other boys in the orphanage put together, but he also enjoyed stealing things from the other children--one of which was the DS Yamiko now held. This game happened to be in the DS when it was stolen, but Yamiko immediately fell in love with it. Not to mention she had seen part of an anime based on Kirby.

Now, Yamiko was playing through the game for the first time. She liked this game because of all the cute characters in it (Kirby often had a Helper following him on his adventures), and she loved the game music. What she also liked about it was that it wasn't just one game, but eight or so "subgames" in one, each with their own storyline. Currently, Yamiko was playing a subgame called Meta Knightmare Ultra. This one was unique because here she controlled Meta Knight instead of Kirby. She was towards the end of this game, fighting (in her opinion) the weirdest boss in existence. It was called "Computer Virus", and consisted of three computer-screen windows. The top one showed messages; the one on the side displayed HP; the one at the bottom held a monster, the current of which was a dragon. A Blade Knight followed Meta Knight as a helper.

The message screen at the top read, "The Great Dragon spews fiery breath!" The dragon did just that, blowing flames. Meta Knight blocked the attack; Blade Knight just stood there and got burned.
"You're supposed to guard against that," Yamiko said to the game. "Like this."
The message screen read, "Blade Knight took damage!" Then the dragon fell out of the screen, giving the two knights the chance to deliver the final blow.
"Just like a faery tale, the knight slays the dragon," Yamiko remarked. "O Great Dragon, behold the sacred sword Galaxia!"
Yamiko chuckled as the message screen gave the two knights fake experience points, such as Beauty, Dreaminess, Foot Speed, Mask Shine, and Leadership. When that was done, a yellow star appeared in the centre of the screen.
"A Warp Star! All right Blade Knight, let's go."
Taking Blade Knight by the hand, Meta Knight flew off screen.

In the next scene, Meta Knight was in space, and a giant mechanical comet appeared before him. This was Nova, the wish-granting comet. Meta Knight proceeded to make his wish...
"My only wish is to become stronger. So I wish to fight... the greatest warrior in the galaxy!"
Nova gave the okay, and his big eyes glowed. The screen went white.
The greatest warrior in the galaxy... Yamiko thought. Wait a minute, would that be Kirby? This should be hilarious...

To Yamiko's surprise, two princesses appeared on the screen, and a blue-haired boy as well. She recognised one of the princesses.
"The greatest warrior in the galaxy is Peach?!?" Yamiko exclaimed. "What the... and is that Zelda? I don't know who that boy there is, but... This doesn't make sense. How can they appear in a Kirby game?"
Yamiko tapped the screen with her stylus and nothing happened. But after a while, Zelda spoke.
"Young ones that aid our heroes, we need your help--without your power, the adventures you embark on will be lost forever!" This confused Yamiko further--she actually talked, as opposed to dialogue appearing on the screen as was the case with everyone else in this game.
Ohh, so they're not the warrior, Yamiko guessed. Maybe that warrior is an evil one who held them captive or something. But still, why Zelda and Peach? Oh wait, I remember Mario and Wario and Toad appearing in the audience as Kirby battled King Dedede. Maybe this is related to that.

Just then, Yamiko felt a strange sensation... it was almost like a tugging. She felt as if she was being pulled into the screen...
Whoa, I didn't know video games can do this! Am I actually going to fight that warrior though?
Yamiko was flying through some sort of tunnel. She thought she felt a sensation on her back, as if she sprouted wings there. After a while, she looked confused.
"Wait a minute, where's my... huh?"
Yamiko looked down to see that she was still Yamiko, not Meta Knight, and that she had no wings. The thing she had been holding in her hand was, to her dismay, not a sword, but a stylus. She still held her DS in her hand, but it appeared to have been turned off.
What? Now I'll have to start this level all over again... Not that I don't mind, but...

At last Yamiko touched ground. Looking around, she found herself in some sort of mountainous area.
Whoa, I hope I don't have to actually fight anyone here... she thought. Unless I can poke someone in the eye with my stylus, I'm practically unarmed...
Just then, Yamiko spotted two people, and nearly jumped. Then she recognised one of them: the boy from before. There was also a girl there, who had wavy brown hair and wore a white skirt similar to hers. She wasn't Zelda or Peach, so who was she?

Yamiko decided to approach the blue-haired boy.
"Erm... hello," Yamiko greeted, sounding quite nervous. "Where did Zelda and Peach go? Weren't you with them?"
"I left them to look for you," the boy replied.
"Huh? I thought you were captive or something..."
"Captive?" the boy repeated, sounding confused. "Erm, no... There is someone who is captive, but it's not me. I'm quite glad to be free." He started rubbing the back of his head.
"Who?" Yamiko asked. "And who is this great warrior holding that person captive?"
"...I think Zelda and Peach can explain it better than I can. I'm more like their messenger, even their guard at times."
"And who are you?"
"...You don't recognise me? I'm Ike."
"...Oh, I never heard of you... I'm not familiar with these games, you see."
Ike sighed. Yamiko glanced around a bit.
"Speaking of games," Yamiko mentioned to no particular person, "where did Meta Knight go? I thought he and Blade Knight would follow me here but..."

OOC: Hee hee hee, Yamiko still thinks she's in the game. And yes, everything up until Zelda appearing was a real video game occurrence, and no, I didn't make the sword's name up.

Sapphire watched as Ike coughed into his hand and raised an eyebrow. She sighed a little feeling a bit weary about being around such a grand character. He looked at Sapphire who didn't know what else to say. She had about a million questions running through her head but about how she came there and why she was there and so many more questions. Of course, Sapphire being Sapphire came out with the most untimely and off topic question she could ever think of.

"Hey! Why did you replace Roy!" She shouted outraged as she remembered that he favorite character had been dropped from Brawl for the man standing in front of her.
"E-Excuse me?" Ike asked, blinking in pure confusion. "I-I replaced Roy?"
Sapphire's eyebrows crossed down towards her nose as she folded her arms across her chest and puffed it out. "Yes. In the game Super Smash Bros Brawl! You replaced Roy!" She complained further.
"Sorry. I didn't know that. It's not like I have control over those things or anything. Tch." He turned his head to the side. "Look my job is to just take you to Peach and Zelda OK? Don't bug me with... Fangirlingness of Roy or whatever." Ike said as he placed a hand on his forehead rubbing it slightly now feeling a little sick from when Sapphire had entered the world.
"I'm not fangirling." She stated with a blush on her cheeks. "So where are we anyway?" She stated looking at the world around her. It was certainly not from any game she recognized.
"You're in the Land of Nintendo, and right now we're no-where special." Ike stated grabbing Sapphire's wrist and began to drag her out of the rocks and mountains.
"Can we visit Kanto?!" She squealed thinking there might be a chance to meet the Pokémon game characters.
"No."
"Please?!"
"No."
"Please Ike! Please!" Sapphire pleaded and started to wriggle her wrist out of his grasp.
"Maybe!" He grumbled. "If something comes up there than I'll take you there, but for the mean time stop it! I just want to get you to Princess Peach and Princess Zelda so I can get you out of my hair!"

At that moment a girl began running over to the two with blood red hair. Sapphire didn't recognize her, so she must have been from a game she had never played.... or perhaps she was another young spirit that had been called on. She asked Ike what had happened, something Sapphire thought she should have done a lot earlier, but Sapphire being Sapphire, it was impossible for her to stay on track. Now that Sapphire had heard the full story she needed to introduce herself to the other girl.

Ike firstly had to answer the girl's question. "Meta knight and Blade Knight eh? Was that from the game you were playing? Then they're probably somewhere around, but they wont be in this area of land.
"So you were playing a Kirby game eh?!" Sapphire interrupted. "Hi, I'm Sapphire. I got called into this place while playing a Pokémon game on the wii." Sapphire smiled almost proudly as though this was some sort of achievement. "By the way, I love your hair colour." Sapphire stated.
"Thanks." The girl replied. "I'm Yamiko."

Dara, staring at the clouds was in her own complete daydream. She could not fathom how this even happened, or where she was. This was all too strange and abnormal for her tastes. Albeit, it was pretty cool, whatever this dream-like work was. The thought of being in a Nintendo game excited her. Before she had time to think further on the matter, she felt something knock into her. In a matter of seconds, she was sprawled out on the ground, coughing out dirt. Aggravated, she looked up to see who had dare knock her down. Whipping the dust from her eyes, she noticed a silhouette that looked a lot like a young child's. Her guess was correct. A girl around her age stood there, speaking. Dara did not pay attention to anything she was saying, but she did catch an "I'm sorry" come out of her mouth.

"That's all right. Everyone makes mistakes. You might want to watch where you go next time. You could run into something much more harder than me. Who knows what is lurking around here. By the way, my name is Dara."

Dara didn't offer her hand to be shook. She figured that since she was dirty, the other girl would not appreciate getting her hands dusty as well. Smiling, she pushed the hair out of her eyes. Dara walked over to a medium sized boulder, and sat down on it. Staring down at the girl, she tried to think of something to say. Nothing came to mind though, so she kept her mouth shut.

"Hey who is that..."

Squinting, Dara tried to see who was approaching them from over the slope. Nervously, she stood on top of the boulder to get a better look. She could see the outline of a hat. Thinking, she tried to make sense of what was coming. Dara braced herself for whatever enemy may be approaching them.

"Do not worry kids! I'm not going to hurt you!"

Dara recognized the voice who was speaking. It was so odd to her, she nearly fell off the boulder. She had to slide off of it, or she might have seriously hurt herself in the shock. Standing before her was Mario, the infamous plumber of the Nintendo franchise. He was smiling at the two girls, motioning them to come closer.

"Y-You're Mario...?" Dara gasped.

"The very one!" replied Mario, twirling his hat in his hand.

"W-What are you doing here?!" Dara spat.

"No need to worry. The Princesses have sent me to retrieve you two, so that you may aid us in our quest. I'm sure they've talked to you by now. I'll explain to you more as we go on our way."

Motioning for the two girls to follow, Mario prodded up the path he had come from. Looking at Risa then at Mario walking away, Dara decided to follow him. She figured he knew what he was talking about, him being Mario and all. Dara reached his side, and began conversing with him. She tried to ask him questions about being, well, about being Mario. Mario tried to answer to his fullest, although he seemed rather reluctant to talk about his achievements. For a legend, Mario seemed rather shy and modest about himself.

"We'll be to the Princesses soon. Its a little ways ahead, but don't worry. You're safe with me. I hope the other children have made it safely back as well."

Dara thought about what he had said.

"So there are others..."

So Sapphire was playing a Pokemon game? Yamiko thought. Then... wait a minute...
Yamiko paused for a moment, trying to figure the situation out. Before this moment, she had the impression that there was som sort of glitch in the game, causing Peach and Zelda and Ike to appear on screen, and maybe some sort of hypnotising effect caused her to feel like she was going through a tunnel. But now Meta Knight and Blade Knight were nowhere in sight, and this girl who had been playing a different game was with her, as was Ike.
I wonder if I made a wish or something in my mind, a wish maybe to visit Dreamland? Or to meet Meta Knight? Wait, no, if I had one wish, it would be to remove the curse Celia put on me.
Yamiko knew in her heart that her great-grandmother, Celia, had put a curse on her--Celia herself had told it to her when she was very young, and her father had confirmed it when he was still around. For a brief moment, Yamiko thought the secret to freeing herself from Celia's curse lay somewhere in this virtual world she and Sapphire had somehow been transported to. Perhaps Celia was the "greatest warrior" in her life she had to fight in order to lift her burden.
Speaking of greatest warrior, she thought, I thought I overheard one of the boys in the orphanage saying that the final boss of that game looked very similar to Meta Knight. Peach looks nothing like him, so... ohh, now I can't wait to find out who it is... but ah well, first things first...

Setting aside her wondering about Meta Knight's whereabouts, Yamiko started to think about what Ike had said about the princesses and the captive he was talking about. For now, she knew that she, Sapphire, and Ike had to find their way back to where Zelda and Peach were. But first, she had to reply to Sapphire, who was looking anxiously at her. So far Yamiko had only told her her name.
"...And yes, you're right, I was playing a Kirby game. Kirby Super Star Ultra, to be exact--though I was playing as Meta Knight, hence why I was wondering where he was. And I was getting to a really good part of the game too..."

At that point, Ike made an announcement.
"All right you two, you can get further acquainted with each other when we're on the boat. I'm not saying you shouldn't, as you'll probably be in contact with each other for quite a while. Why don't you follow me so we can get back to Miyamoto City, where Peach and Zelda are?"

Ike led the two girls to a river, where a raft rested on the bank. This raft was nothing special--it was an inflatable raft and was bright orange in colour, but it held the three occupants without any problems. Ike sat in the front of this raft, holding a paddle which had been resting inside it, and Sapphire and Yamiko sat next to each other in the back. Within moments, the three were cruising down the river, headed for the city--although the peaks of the mountains blocked their view of it. As they went down the river, Yamiko could spot a small group of little creatures with leaves on their heads gathered around a boulder. Two of these creatures waved at them as the raft passed by, but the rest hid behind the boulder.
"Are those Pikmin?" Yamiko wondered.
Ike nodded. "I've seen them gathered alongside this river occasionally--though I have no clue why. It's impossible to talk to them, of course."

Yamiko watched the Pikmin do what they were doing (though they just stood or hid there and did nothing), until the raft turned a corner and blocked her sight of them. She kept a lookout for other characters as the raft went by, but around the next corner all she could see were rocks and the occasional patch of grass. One such patch looked like it had been recently burnt; a tiny bit of smoke was rising from it. After a while, the raft turned another corner, and the occupants beheld a spectacular view of Miyamoto City.
"Well," said Ike, "it looks like it won't be long before we reach our destination. Now hold on tight; the river speeds up around this bend."

Sure enough, the river made a sharp right turn before reaching a large boulder, causing the raft to bank to the side--Yamiko had to hold on to the side of the raft in order to prevent Sapphire falling on top of her into the river. But this only lasted for a second or two before the turn ended. The raft sped up a little bit, heading down a not-so-steep-yet-still-existent slope down the side of the mountain. A hill in the distance obstructed the view of the city save for what looked like the top of a magnificent castle.

As the raft began to slow down and a beautiful castle came into view, Sapphire knew that they were a step away from their destination. The raft was guided next to the land and was ready for the two girls and Ike to step off from it. The Fire Emblem character made the first step and offered out his hand. Sapphire took it with out hesitation and he helped her step over the gap. He then offered his help to Yamiko and helped her ashore as well. Sapphire stepped forward and took in the magnificent views. Peach and Zelda were still not in her view, but who really cared when she had so much to explore! She rushed forward only to have a quick hand grab her and stop her dead in her tracks.

"Ah! No running off!" Ike said sighing. "You must stay with me at all costs. Peach will give me her bomber attack if I lost one of you two!" Ike shuddered at the thought of the angered Peach. Yamiko smiled and walked beside the two, herself taking in the wanders that beheld the place. A small part of her seemed to be looking for Meta knight, but he was nowhere to be seen. At least, not yet anyway.

"So where's Peach and Zelda?" Sapphire asked with a cheery smile.

Ike looked away and whispered. "Right in front of you! They're invisible!"

"What?! Really?!" Sapphire squealed looking around as if expecting to see something that was invisible. Ike just laughed loudly and held himself at how the girl reacted. Sapphire was confused and looked at the warrior as thought she was asking for clarification on what was going on. He straightened himself and thought back the smirk as he told Sapphire the truth.

"I can't believe you believed that!" The smirk quickly came back to his lips but again he wiped it away and concentrated on the truth. "They're not far from here, just in the center. We should move fast come. Yamiko, Sapphire... Prepare yourself."

Sapphire searched her memory and stood still for a moment as Ike and Yamiko already began to walk. Sapphire had heard Ike say that line before. 'Prepare yourself'. Of course, it hit her a moment after. It was a famous taunt that Ike used in the game Super Smash Bros Brawl. With that in mind, Sapphire was beginning to understand a little more of what exactly was going on. They were in the land of Brawl... her and Yamiko had to be since that was the only game that had a collection of Nintendo stars all in one place. She scratched her head and was soon snapped out of her daze as Ike called back to her.

"Geese you're such a pest, come on hurry up Sapphire." Sapphire snapped her head to the sound of Ike's voice and smiled while running after him. He lead the two girls to where Peach and Zelda was, and it wasn't too long before they were in sight. Sapphire desperately wanted to know why she was there and what both her and Yamiko had to do with everything. She tried to keep calm, knowing that all would be explained soon enough.

Dara followed the overall clad plumber for what seemed like hours. Everything looked the exact same. The trees, the grass, hills, even the flowers had faces. Nervously, Dara tried to not look at them. Of course, since they were moving, she instantly became distracted by their presence. Having not really played a Mario game fully through, this was quite a new experience for Dara. She was used to thick, overgrow vines everywhere, open fields, monsters, all the typical stuff you would find in a Zelda game.

"Does it not creep you out Risa, knowing everything looks at you when you pass it? It does for me. I never know what is watching me. Even the clouds have eyes!"

Mario chuckled at the exasperated girl. He tried his best to explain that none of those things would harm her. The only true enemies were Koopas and Goombas. Of course, if they were to run into them, Mario assured both the girls that he would protect them. After all, he has been fighting them forever! Still, Dara wasn't fully convinced that everything would be ok in the hands of one person. Mario was, of course, Super Mario, but what if they came at them from all sides? Trying to figure out a strategy, Dara kept to herself as Mario continued to talk.

"Here we are girls. The warp pipe!"

Gesticulating to the warp pipe, Dara snapped out of her day dream. It appeared they had made it to their destination all right. Relieved, Dara pushed the thought of being in danger and planning an escape route out of her mind. It took her a moment to even the grasp the current situation.

"The... what?" she repeated.

"Its the warp pipe. You know, what I travel stage to stage in. They can be green and red. This one is green, so its the typically one everyone is used to. Don't worry though. They are completely safe and you really don't feel a thing going into them."

Dara looked into the "mouth" of the pipe. She could see nothing but a black abyss. To think that she would have to jump into that and fall all the way down it scared her silly. She was unsure whether it was painless, quick, or lasted a while. Thoughts of being sucked down a drain entered her mind. Dara pictured herself swirling downward and downward at such an alarming pace, she wouldn't be able to even think! Giving a look at Risa, she tried to read the girl's mind.

"A-Are you sure this is safe? I mean, it looks pretty dangerous. Is there another way we can get there? You know, airplane, boat, car?"

Mario looked at her in disbelief and shook his head. This was the only way they were to make it to the others. Mario was unfamiliar with different modes of transport. He had been using the warp pipe all his life. No problems ever resulted from them, so he tried his best to reassure both of the girls.

"Listen, this is the only way I know how to get there. The warp pipes are safe. If they weren't, do you think I'd let a child use it? Plus, they are quick and you barely feel a thing. Here, I'll help you."

Before Dara could have any rebuttal to the situation, Mario hoisted her to the top of the pipe and down she went. Risa was the next to enter it, and finally, Mario himself went inside it. The whole process lasted about a second. All of three of them landed safely on the ground. Mario dusted himself off and smiled at the two girls.

"See, that wasn't so bad. You didn't feel anything, did you?"

Dara flushed with color. She had made such a big deal over something she didn't even understand. Nodding, she tried to swallow her pride and forget about the whole matter. This was Nintendo. Everything around her was from a video game, and she had to accept each and everyone of the games ways. Sighing, she apologized to Mario for making a big deal out of it.

"Don't worry too much about it. The Princesses are just over head."

Dara and Risa followed the hero again, both minds a whirl with curiosity and suspicion. Leading them over a small hill, Mario reached the two Princesses. Dara stared in awe at the royal women, and couldn't help but bow.

"It is a honor to meet you... Princess Zelda and Princess Peach..." Dara bowed low to the ground in respect. Risa, unsure of what to do, copied her same actions.

Mario laughed at her odd behavior, and then noticed Ike and the other girls. Grinning, he began to wave at the three of them.

"Well, we have four of the children!" Mario exclaimed.

Sorry it took so long to post. Hopefully I'll stop being so late.

Risa followed the plumber and the young girl she had met only moments ago. Their walk lasted for what felt like forever. She felt her feet start to ache with each step and she started to become sleepy due to the dull surroundings. Everything was the same, just like how it is in the Mario games and she couldn't stand seeing the same thing over and over again.

During the walk, Risa kept to herself. She didn't utter a word, nor did she really pay much attention to the conversation the two were having. She was lost in her own little world, wondering what was going to happen and why she was even there to begin with. There had to be others, so why were there?

Once they stopped walking Risa quickly snapped out of her thoughts and paid close attention at how to use the warp pipe. She was a bit surprised to notice Dara scared of the traveling method. It was a different, but it had to be safe if Mario did it. Again, she stayed quiet because she didn't know what to say. It's not like she had any personal experience taking the warp pipe to go anywhere so she didn't have any room to talk.

She watched Mario help Dara into the warp pipe then he helped her as well get into the green pipe. It was a weird feeling, everything was completely dark for a few seconds and it felt like some ride that was going down from a steep hill, like a roller coaster.

They walked over a small hill and there stood the two princesses in two major games; Princess Peach from Super Mario Bros and Princess Zelda from the Legend of Zelda. Risa always liked Peach, thinking that she was the coolest princess. She felt nervous around the characters who she admired. What made things even more nerve wrecking was that more children and another iconic character appeared. She hid behind Dara, clenching her shirt.

"Um... Do you mind if I stay near you? I don't feel comfortable with all of these new people..." She asked quietly.

As they continued to walk.its was surprisingly quiet.Until they finally arrived at the base of a city

"Hmp so where are we link....iam sure you know"Nathan asked sarcastically.

"Well this where we're suppose to be." Link begin to walk up to him "Told you i would let lead" Link said smiling as him as he begin to walk into the city.

Nathan eye begin to twitch a little "That man knew i was heading this way in,Didn't say anything. Iam starting to very much dislike this guy.Nathan said as he begin following him.

They walked through small food markets."This place is really different" nathan said walking behind link. "Well it is.The princess wouldn't of have summoned you here unless it was of the most importance.

Nathan eyes begins to close" What do she want with me. is it truly this important". "Haha ha haha Well you'll find that out later on" Link said leading the way
