Sorry, Anti-Pop, I don't recall using the word noobish... I just though it sucked on garchomp, but I understand now...

Well I'm glad you do. You have to understand that we do infact know what we're talking about...most of us anyways. I'll give you a tip Jimmyray...you should always make movesets that accomadate a pokemon's strengths, obviously, but if there are ways to destroy more pokemon or diversifying the pokemon you're using, you should go with that. Just because fire fang on garchomp has more power, doesn't mean that fire blast isn't batter. It allows garchomp to laugh at steelix, forry, and skarm...thus making it a better choice. Hope that made any sense.

The same goes with swampert. While it has higher attack, giving it special moves with physical moves makes it stronger since it isn't walled by any pokemon that can take physical hits...which goes back to diversity.

So yeah, my vote is mixedpert...good luck breeding.

EDIT: I agree though, you have the right to disagree with people. If you wanna use fire fang on garchomp, go ahead. Who knows, it may work better. without disagreement, this forum, PC rather, would not exist.

Exactly. It IS your team, Jimmyray. I recommend mixedpert, but that doesn't mean you have to use it, or makes it the best. My advice is to experiment with different sets and EV spreads an find the one that works best for you. For me, it was mixedpert.

Just at least take their movesets for granted. And you always think you're sets are the best, when they're not. cursepert gets walled by my fav steelix...but if you wish to use it, take out SR and put in rest. Waterfall is an option over avalanche, though avalanche is better IMO.

Avalanche, Surf for 3rd Gen, but since you probably have 4th, Waterfall, Roar if spikes (Skarmory). Or Stone Edge/Protect depending on what you need for your team, basaically.

Yep id say HP Electric or Stone Edge, otherwise Gyarados laughs at you. If you have a Spiker such as Skarm or Forretress in your party like Itachi said, Roar works wonders. You maybe scared of Choice specs Starmie/other things that carry Grass Knot or Energy Ball, so Protect could be used to scout moves like that. So its really up to you at the end of the day.

You should of read the whole thread XD

Cursepurt is good, but mainly because it is walled easier than mixpert. It also can get Pseudo hazed by skarm etc. easier, this is the reason why we suggested Mixpert and so Skarm or whatever would think twice about switching into it.

He said he wanted to use Cursepurt and then he changed his mind seeing as mixpert was popular and being frequently suggested to him.
