Sword Art Online II

I'm not trying to make a show - I just thought it'd be funny, Netto. I didn't intend to offend fans of the series. Should take it easy when it comes to SAO, sheesh. :/

As for you, Syn - I somehow made it. Because I probably had more free time back then than I have now? I personally think SAO's first arc was still enjoyable. I'm sure DESU-GUN arc would be enjoyable to a degree too if I actually went ahead and finished it but the degree of enjoyment I'd get from it versus the amount I'd get from watching some other series (like Initial D that I'm watching, for instance) makes me think it isn't worth it. Plus, DESU-GUN's real identity being who I thought he is just gave me that extra push - I hadn't been feeling motivated about the series at all, anyway. I mean, I hadn't seen any episode after 6. I have, pretty much, not touched the series in over 2 months. For an on-going series that I decided to follow, that's long.

That said, you know what gave away the identity to me? The opening. It just looks kinda obvious from the opening. Wondering if it is just me, though.
 
That was actually a pretty good episode it had some sort of dual wielding action so that's a big plus.
Also Klein being comic relief is always good in my book.

Gun Gale arc was good as it tackled Kirito's inner thoughts on what he had to do towards the members of Laughing Coffin. Too much booty, chit chatting in caves, and creepy rape faces from Sinon's friend, though.

As for their walk on over to ALO... Initially, I thought Sinon's cat ears were a disaster and out of character. Then I realized the cat starting classes most likely have increased senses, perfect for archery. Now, does Asuna really needed blue hair still? Excalibur arc was very weak. I had no reason to watch it because I know the overpowered Kirito would overcome the dungeon.

I can't say I'm enjoying the arc that was supposed to feature more of Asuna. I grow less eager to watch this every week now because I'm not given a reason to engage in their story.

I did however re-watch some of the episodes from the first half of SAO I. The 10th and 14th episode were so cool. I missed their struggle of surviving in the virtual MMORPG.
