@Swift I made my next post about the boss, is that how you want us to do it? I'm not really going for final blow, but I am not sure if I did it right.

Basically you can attack and yell and all sorts - anything but kill the thing :P.

Oops, now I better go check but did I put in the boss post that once you enter you can't leave until the boss is defeated?

You can find an 'official' list here, however you are able to use your sword in any other way you feel is possible - I don't want to pin people down with strict skills.

The only thing SAO outright disallows is 'magic', so no conjuring fireballs or stabbing them with lightning :P

You mean like... slash marks? It's hard to explain haha.

If you mean actual blades of air then no, if you mean there is a kind of extension of your attack in the air (SLASH->attack goes a bit further than the sword/whatever) then you can work with it.

I'm not gonna vet this rule too much as it's hard to find where to draw the line.

Yep, you can join the boss battle whenever you like.

The first season is 14 episodes and the second season will end soon, I won't put the exact number for those who don't want to know. I will say, though, that it is within my ideal length for an anime.
