Ok so I almost always browse the web in multiple tabs. PC is no exception. So my question comes from how the home page works. It shows all the threads and the number of users viewing the threads. When tab browsing do I count as multiple people viewing or does only one get counted?

EX: If I have one tab open in "Community Announcements" and another in "Community Questions & Feedback" do they both gain one more viewer? Or just one of the two?

    Kinda weird question...
Im 80% (guess) sure that both get a view..
Though Im 90% sure that I have no idea how it works

I think it refers to the last tab that you created/refreshed, regardless of how many window are open. My justification is that this is what happens on your profile; rather than listing all of your tabs' activities, it lists your latest.

So if you visited the Announcements Section last, that should be the one with the "one member viewing" bit.

A related question: Does that put a lot more strain on the server, then?
I have wondered this before myself, and am interested in hearing the answer.

I think that the one you viewed last is the current one that is counted being viewed. It's hard for me to explain, but that's just what I think.

    This is correct.

In my experience, that won't happen often. Now, if a dozen people each open around five tabs at the same time, then yes, it'll hit the server pretty hard.
