I disagree. The last thing a fool would want to claim is doc, since that makes the town afraid to lynch and makes the maf too eager to kill. Hats off to the fool that can win claiming doc, but smart money says you're better off cc'ing a vanilla inno.

From his posts, I thought Bidoof was his latest suspect for fool and it's not akin to a townie to vote for a person they think is a fool.

I'm with Johnny on this one... it's odd how the maf spared Melody, especially since they don't have a roleblocker to neutralize her with. And without a cop to verify her identity... I'd like to know how many of their souls they sold to the devil to get so lucky.

Yes, Melody should claim visits so we can have the truth of it. I wouldn't go so far as claiming who she'll visit next - that'd just give the maf a free pass.

Oh, and mind you, it's also possible they're planning to use their Strongman on her... but that still begs the question why they didn't do it now.

Okay, hi there everyone. How nice of us to lynch the doc - now that I'm out of work, I can post my thoughts on it.

First off, I'll be a little less active from now on because I just got a new job. Doesn't mean I'm not scum, I just don't want anyone reading too much into me not posting as often as I normally would. Anyways, on to my reads.

Johnny's been so damn thorough on all his arguments that it's hard to fault him for gunning for Melody. I was suspicious of the doc claim myself, but I was also under the presumption that the maf left her alone because they didn't trust the claim as well. It'd be all too easy for Melody to be Karol from their perspective, trying to draw the maf kill.

I agree with the scumread of HyperMorian, and for that, I'll townread doof, Naku, SF, and Johnny. gimmepie as well. I think maf left that bandwagon alone, since none of them would want to be on it if it turns out doc got lynched. Other than that, I don't have anything to offer at the moment, there's been too much and too little going on at the same time. So much smoke blown over the Melody mess, and cop gone, we need to find scum fast and have something to work with.

Weird wording at the start of the post. we didn't lynch the doc. Melody got straight up killed by L'Belle using her sword. He mentioned again that he was suspicious of the doc claim, which was real as he thought Melody was the fool (?). However, I don't like his presumption that maf let her alone because of bad claim. I think it would be very much easy to counter claim a doctor and call on the one who claimed it and push for a scum lynch. He then townread doof (despite thinking he was fool before) and thinking that maf want to be part of a bad town lynch. IMO, it's better to be part of a bad town lynch because you blend in easier and you could just say bandwagon got me. IDK.

Probably because they expect you to use it. I'm half surprised they didn't try giving me a fake sword yet. Then again, they should know by now I'm just unhinged, not brain-dead.

So no, don't use it. Odds are 2/3 by my accounting that the sword's fake. Unless maf is handing out fake vests... which would be bad.

And while I'm thinking about it, why the hell is Repede handing out swords? We need vests way more.

Advising me on not using my sword. It's a townie move as my sword is pretty much confirmed to be rigged at this point in time. I agree with his Repede's point though. We need vests.

Well... I can see why. Maf would be more than eager to use their sword "for the good of the town." If they hit town, it's not their fault, and if they hit maf, they're cleared inno for life. Case in point: me during the whole Werewolves mafia thing. Jesus Christ, I won that game by being the gunsmith's hitman and then eating his brains once I was done enjoying all his guns.

I already answered this. The point would stand if maf knew they were given a real sword. it would not if it is a rigged sword. In my case, I knew it was a rigged sword as I have mentioned.

Good point. At the same time, though, maf didn't have time to decide if it'd be wise to join the wagon or not - there were only around five people on when Melody got stabbed.

Trying to make sense of the melody vote. Five people is a lot in that time standards in my opinion.

Next two posts are claiming posts, one asking Karol to claim and another the claim cc?d by Fletch.

Every time I had itchy fingers, I ended up doing something awful... case in point, murdering a cop. Didn't feel like doing that again.

To top it off, I have an idea. Why not leave me and Fletch to duel it out? It means that the mafia is forced to pick between letting a vigilante murder one of them so they can take out gimmepie, or killing the vig, letting the blacksmith go free and having that maf get lynched the next day. They don't have a role blocker or extra kill stashed away, so there isn't any way for them to counter this strategy.

Last Bard post. First one was defending his game which we all know. Next one is asking him and Fletch to be left alone. He posited two situations. I'm not yet reading much into this action. It seems a good action at a glance but I haven't yet to see if there are other stuff I'm not seeing.

Claiming vanilla is a safe route for a mafia to take, and doesn't make an impact. I don't think they'd be stupid enough to clutch at that so early in the game. There's no point.

While Bard called maf incompetent, Fletch doubts their stupidity. The saga continues.

After long stares at walls of text and trying to piece something together for a read of my own, all I can ask is... a role like the Doctor. Why claim it with 7 votes in a majority lynch set up? Why not wait until it was absolutely needed for you not to receive a lynch? I'm just confused, with a role as crucial as Doctor, you should be and are expected to keep it under wraps until final straw? I wouldn't say you were particularly being pressured into it either.

Questioning Melody's claim as doctor. Maybe Melody saw the bandwagon quickly forming? 7 votes is a big number already. It'd be easy to sway the others with a number that big.

Late to the party for this. But I don't see how we can still suspect Melody. If she's fool, she's playing it bad. Bidoof, to me, has been flipping a lot more than I'd usually see him do. And that's bugging me slightly. For the sake of not wanting to die, I'm [vote] Bidoof and I'll see what tomorrow brings us in terms of this

honestly, if it's a "low effort thought" then so be it. I was simply weighing in on the situation and didn't want to potentially lynch real doc when in my eyes, lynching a doc claim with no cc seems very very wrong. Regardless of the fact she could very well be maf and the other doc is keeping it safe - I simply wasn't convinced. I still hold an issue with how she claimed relatively quickly into a game with a lynch majority required. I'm definitely not saying she's clear. By any means. But I don't like the idea of not having a lynch between claims. Maybe because I'm not confident with this again yet?

I feel like I'm either not used to your playstyle, since I haven't been in games for a long time and only just finished one, or I'm struggling to fully read you outright. Either way, you did have a scum lean on pie for voting Melody, iirc you said "somewhat recluctant to lynch her as quickly as gimmepie has" (then voted her a few poss down) & them further up in the same post "gimmepie's behaviour is bothering me I don't know about Johnny yet". Maybe flipping wasn't the best choice of word, but you were very happy to lynch Melody "because there is no other good option" when if you truly felt this way, you could've contributed to making it a no lynch for the day.

And, in my opinion - I hope Melody comes forward to speak today, and tell us what she thinks about yesterday. She went silent after the Johnny situation and I think mafia not killing her tonight is setting us all up for a trap, which is smart play. Of course they want the doc dead - so they could've just outright killed her, or attempted. But why not capitalise from town bandwagons?

provided some insight on how the mafia could be thinking.

So, between the two of them, I think Bard is more likely to be the scum because of his vote on his suspected fools but idk, that last suggestion seemed like a townie suggestion. Nothing Fletch said is indicative of scum to me though. Bard is more active as seen by above posts as he did make more notes than Fletch throughout the game.

Idk who to believe now.

I think it's even more convincing to claim right now because townies also need more information. Plus Repede had already claimed and if that is true, I expect gimme to be the next one to day tonight. Mafia already have what they need.

Of the people who hasn't claimed, I'm fosing on Bard (I think fletch is inno), jd for the refusal to claim, purplecicada (I hate this fos because lumi was pretty much inactive) and either naku or desi.

Don't trust my word on this as I assumed all the claimed roles (except for fletch and bard) are real.

Unfortunate that the wagon on HM ended where it did, aka as a Fool, but I stand by what led it there, and if I can hop onto a computer tomorrow and properly read back, possibly with some potentially interesting implications on a few reads. But not powerful ones, most likely.

Claiming a role doesn't instantly clear you, especially when it's an actionless role that can't be verified except through its death or the death of a possible cc.

But we'll see if anything else develops with that by the time I'm able to check in again tomorrow and make an actual vote.

I'm not sure. It sounds like both of them are good as dead nowadays, either through the lynch, the vig kill, or the mafia kill, unless we correctly guess which one is the real vig and lynch him/her. But if you wanted to let them have it guys, I'm all for it.

I'm Patty, and I possess a lot of abilities, but I can only use them once, and the ability that I use is randomized, so I don't get to choose what ability I use.

N2 - Bidoof FTW - did nothing (one of the "abilities" I was able to roll, doesn't matter coz Johnny blocked me on that night)
N3 - Johnny - investigated him - inno (can be confirmed in the phase post that Patty and Raven were together last night)

Dusk came and everyone had started heading to their rooms. Everyone but one, that is.

Yuri Lowell had heard news about Alexei's whereabouts and slipped out while everyone else was busy chatting. Out on the outskirts of Dahngrest there was an encampment. Yuri could only scoff at the fact that Alexei was right beyond the edge of the city. So he's that confidence everything will go well, huh?

Well, that was about to change.

Yuri slips into the encampment and searched for Alexei's tent. The Schwann Brigade was there chatting away with a few of the other knights who were less than pleased to here the bimbos chatter. Being the chatterboxes they are, Yuri takes a moment to listen in on the conversation. It only takes him a minute to not only learn of where Alexei's tent is, but that Cumore and Ragou are currently elsewhere.

No matter. At least one of his targets are there. The biggest one of all.

He slips through to the end of the encampment where Alexei's tent lies. He peeks in and sees Alexei speaking with another knight.

"Everything is going as planned, sir!"

"Good. Round up the knights for tonight's attack. Once we rid of the rest of them the Union will fall and the world will be ours." Alexei responds. The knight salutes and leaves the room. As he leaves Yuri slips into the room himself, sword in hand. Upon hearing the noise Alexei turns. He didn't ask for another knight to enter the tent. Especially without his permission.

"Who is--!"

Before he could respond Yuri twirls his sword and slices Alexei. Alexei stumbles back, hand on chest where he was hit.

"... Yuri Lowell. So you found me." He reaches for his own sword but before he could reach Yuri cuts him down again.

"I have no time for you and your damn words. Go to hell, Commandant," Yuri scowls. No more words come from Alexei as Yuri leaves the tent and slips back out of the encampment. He arrives back in Dahngrest and sees Patty outside of the Inn.

"So you used it, Nanoja! Did you get him?" Patty asks. Yuri nods his head.

"Yeah. Thanks for the extra weapon," Yuri responds. "Let's get to sleep."

Patty agrees and both head on inside. Once inside Raven comes out of the shadows and sighs in relief. Now that he's gone his secret no longer must be kept. He's free.

ALEXEI IS DEAD. BARDOTHREN WAS ALEXEI.
