    Hello there, PC! I'm a 22 year old young man hoping to enter the Competitive scene I avoided years ago when I started playing with Gen III. I was not to keen with playing with others before but now that I'm older, I realized how much I was missing on. I'm looking forward to learn from the experts here!

    We've got a whole section on the current Competitive Battling scene here, where plenty of members will help you build up a strong team and give you a good challenge to boot! Will you be getting into competitive battling with ORAS, by any chance? The new Mega Evolutions in that should alter the face of the metagame again I expect...although in truth I have absolutely no clue what it's like now; I stopped battling with others after Platinum! xD

    Yes, I'm definitely looking forward to joining the ORAS competitive scene once I get my hands on a 3DS! Before that, I'm currently playing around Showdown and Online for the mean time.

    Competitive really is fun. [: So many tiers and Pokemon to use - gives you more things to work towards post-game. I spend majority of my time breeding Pokemon with good IVs once I've beaten the E4 myself. Do you have any competitive goals you're working towards right now?

    And yes yes, really do hope you'll be able to nab a 3DS soon! Very worthwhile, especially since the competitive scene is a lot more accessible nowadays with the fantastic breeding mechanics changes. Showdown is also crazy fun.. lovin' the random battles. <3

    Competitive battling is fairly popular among members here, we have some who are extremely dedicated towards their goal they'll breed all they can to get the perfect Pokemon. At least you hopefully plan to get a 3DS soon and catch up on the latest generation of competitive play, the new Megas in OR/AS are really flipping competitive battling on its head right now.

    Hopefully I might see you around on the battle server sometime, but for now enjoy your time with us and if you ever want to talk, just leave me a message!

    I asked around for help regarding my UU team and now I've been doing a great job in the UU Tier. Is there a thread where members could share replays from Pokemon Showdown?
