Except they're a lot more dangerous for the people involved and literally anyone close to or in the same x and y axis as or between them. And blasters are apparently inaccurate as fuck.

Traditionally I'm a Sword/Fisticuff guy, it's pretty rare that I indulge in axes (and slightly less rare that axes indulge in me).

That in mind, my weapon of choice in Monster Hunter is, surprisingly, the Switch Axe. Even stranger because, despite it being able to turn into a sword, when I fell in love with it and the majority of the time after, I didn't use its sword mode at all. So I can't say I'm totally impartial to Axes.

Plus, favorite Fates character uses axes. For great justice.
