I think that Wizard would just be awkward for Mismagius, though. Wizard conjures the picture of old guys with beards - Alakazam would work better for a Wizard.
I suppose Mage could work for Mismagius - it's basically in the name.
and for your mismagius witch i suggest nasty plot not only is it a good move but it fits into the whole witch idea :P
