Team Rockets Evil Plans! (Speculation, Possible Spoiler Warning?)

    Well as most of you who have been watching Best Wishes know, Giovanni has recently got together Jessie, James and Meowth to help him with his evil plans for the isshu region. It's currently unknown what his plans are but he has given Team Rocket some rather interesting tasks like in the Musharna episode. There has been some rather interesting sectulation on the serebii fourms that they might be making a genetically enhanced Legendary, which could mean the return of Mewtwo :D A lot of other people say Genosect would make more sense because Mewtwo a kanto pokémon and BW doesn't seem to be showing any pokémon of than gen 5.

    Also something interesting, Giovanni mentioned and warned the trio in episode 11 that another evil organization have started their activites in the Isshu region. (Most probably Team Plazma)

    Basically this thread is to discuss what Giovanni's plans are for the Isshu region.
    What do you guy's think about the Mewtwo and Genosect speculation?

    They're actually planning to make a genetically modified pokémon again, but instead decide to steal Genosect! Only problem is that they forget the cassettes......

    Mewtwo comes in at the end to have a fight, only to get battered until Reshiram and Zekrom distract it long enough for him to finish it with a Psycho Shock.

    In episode 8 that women gave Jessie that suitcase and told her that they would find out Giovanni's plan once they get to Shippou city and get their orders, so no one has a clue yet what their plans are...
     
    Really? I was just making that up, you realise? I haven't seen any of the new anime, as I can't speak Japanese....
     
    Then how do you guys watch it ? Is there translated versions around already?
     
    I can understand just a bit of Japanese; pretty much enough to watch. Thankfully, this anime is one that's usually easy to follow, because the story depends more on visuals than dialogue, thankfully.

    However, some episodes are dialogue-heavy and depend on that, thus making it harder to enjoy or understand the story without sufficient working knowledge of the language.

    By the way, oddly enough, there ARE some subbed episodes of Best Wishes out!
     
    Actually all 8 Episodes are subbed at this point. I don't really see Mewtwo coming in "just to fight" I think there needs to be more of a reason him to arrive on the scene this just to fight. I don't see Mewtwo fighting on behalf of Rocket since he already escaped them. Unless they create Mewthree(doubt that will happen ever) then use it against Plasma.
     
    I am not 100% sure,I think the main reason is Giovanni is tryign to get some of the newer technology and use in Isshu,Hoenn,Sinnoh,Kanto,and Johto. Another thing is he may just be try to over come the Isshu region and take over the rest of America.
     
    I'm guessing that the plans have to do with Reshiram/Zekrom and possibly Genesect. Who knows, Jessie, James and Meowth might end up working with Team Plasma to get those plans in motion.
     
    What are you talking about? Wasn't Team Rocket supposed to invade Isshu? XD

    I don't really think that Mewtwo would be involved in this in any way being a first generation Pokemon. And I don't really know what Genosect is exactly, but since Team Plasma messed around with it and implanted some sort of a canon, Team Rocket might try to steal it. If Genosect is with Team Plasma, it might turn into a violent clash with Team Rocket. XD

    Who told you that America existed in the Anime? ._.; It is just that Isshu was modeled after New York city.

    I don't see that as a possibility because they seem to be quite loyal to Giovanni at the moment.

     
    Um, mervyn797? China exists in the anime and was referenced even in late AG during the Kanto Battle Frontier arc!

    Don't forget Mattise, our lightning American, and his gratituous use of English words!

    We're not sure where Melissa is from, but she uses English and her Japanese is spoken with a noticable accent, not to mention she bungles Pokemon versions of Japanese sayings (if memory serves... it's been a while since I watched her episodes, so I'm not sure about that last point).

    The point remains, America most likely exists in the anime, but not the America we know... but as a Pokeon World version!

    Isshu is most likely not a part of this America, but might simply have geographical and cultural similarities. Judging by the Western-style names and designs some characters have, they could have moved from America to Isshu.

    There are a few people who can actually understand most, if not a minor portion of what is going on in the anime. To be honest, you really don't have to understand Japanese to know what's going on - other than what they might be saying.

    Anyway, the topic is being a bit strayed right now, so let's keep things on track, shall we? Which is speculation on Team Rocket's purpose / plot in Isshu.

    Their true intentions have not yet been revealed yet, like I said before that women gave Jessie that suitcase and told her that they would get their orders when they get to shippou city and that their ture intentions would be revealed.

    For all of you who don't know, I've been watching the subbed episodes... No one I wont tell you where I watch them since it's against the rules.
     
    Team Rocket's aim is a polar opposite to what Team Plasma are fighting for (or what they say they're fighting for). Team Rocket want to use and capture Pokemon, Plasma want to free them. So it makes sense for Team Rocket to be involved in this saga, as this will highlight Plasma's aims. Hopefully we get a great Plasma vs Rocket battle some time in the saga :)

    One thing I want to know though is... why Jessie, James and Meowth? They're basically the least competent members of the entire TR organisation, so why send them out? Hopefully Giovanni is using them for a specific reason, rather than actually deciding they're capable of doing the job. I'd like to see them have some success, since I got so fed up of seeing them blast off every episode. It looks promising so far.
     
    Jessie, James, and Meowth aren't the only ones over there as demonstrated by Episode 8 interactions between the main Team Rocket gang and other undercover members. It does make me wonder though why the 3 were assigned the task they were assigned.
     
    Well, let's also remember that we didn't see Mewtwo until the end of the Kanto Gym era, and it wasn't even identified then. It took a movie for that.

    While I wouldn't shove and Genosect speculation aside, I don't think that's it. We'll see though.
