    Hi all, This is the thread where you can join up to Team Torzach, So this is where to post if you would like to join the Hacking Team!

    This is a template on what your post should look like;

    Spriter; These are urgent! As soon as we get some sprites done, we can almost release a Beta! I have all the concepts, I just need people to turn those into proper Sprites.

    Scripter; We need people who are good at making lots of events, as there
    will be a lot of new ones in this Hack.​

    Sprite Inserter; Now, I know this isn't something you find in every job list,
    but for some reason I just cannot insert sprites on my computer, so, the positions open!

    Beta Testers; These aren't especially urgent, as the beta isn't gonna be out for a while yet, but you may as well sign up now! Oh, and you have more chance of getting the Beta Testing job if you are willing to help out in other areas as well. ;)

    Title Screen Editor; We are going to have a completely original Title Screen, but unfortunately, none of us know how to do it :D We need someone who can edit everything about the Title Screen.

    Even if a job you are good at is listed in the current team section, it doesn't mean that we don't need that job anymore. We are plaanig on have at least two of everything, so all positions are still open :D

    What we are working on currently is Pokemon Torzach (link in signature), we started it a few weeks back, but it is only really starting to kick off now. It is a hack of Fire Red, and the story is, well, just go check out the Thread! :D

    It may look like quite a few people have joined, but we still need more! So, if you have any skills with hacking, and you are interested in joining the team, let us know! We would love to have you on board.​

    Past Experience: Started lots of hacks on my own, but never finished them, neither did I make them public. I started with mapping and changing other small stuff. But eventually this became boring and I started doing harder stuff like scripting and title screen editing(title screen editing never worked out xD). Now a days I make small maps and do lots of small minigames in them for my friends to play. (Like cooking xD).

    i noticed at the beginning it said none of you knows how to alter the title screen. actually if you open up unlz and look closely, you'll see the tiles for the title screen. you then just alter them as you see fit just as you would a trainer.
    at least thats how ive done it. just messed around with it one day and turned the fire red fire things in the title into snowflakes lol.

    EDIT: heres another way i found if u want to make a COMPLETELY unique title screen. (see attachment)

    Would you happen to need a remixer/"song" maker for your ROM music (in case you want new or updated themes)? If so, I would be glad to assist in the endeavor.

    Edit: As for other potential skills, I'm also a fairly decent storyteller, or so I've been told. I suppose my skills (all of which are not included as I've never been good with that sort of thing) would mainly be "technical," for lack of a better word.

    Proof of work: Remix or Original? I have both, of course.
    Past experience (not essential): In the hacking of Roms, there is limited.

    Welcome my friend, to Team Torzach! :D We'll have you on as the Music person for this hack, some new stuff would be nice :D
    So, a storyteller.... Well, I'll get in contact with you via PM later on, we can discuss story ideas. It'll be nice having someone to bounce story ideas off :D
     
    If you like I can also do the title screen! Im quite good with graphical things!
     
    Okay, application time.


    Skill: Spriting. I'm fairlygood, hopefully up to the standards you want.
    Proof of Work: See attached. They're some of my best sprites back from when I did loads of Pokemon Splices. I have tunerd my hand to other forms of spriting before, like scratch, pixel art, isometric. If you want proof for them just ask. OF course I'm less slightly skilled, as I have less practice.
    Past Exp: A few years, and I've improved in that time considerably.

    I've Pm'd you with some stuff, just get to work on the hero and heroine, and get them to me ASAP. Oh, and do you do Pokemon Sprites?
    I'll get you the userbar after we release the beta, which should be in about 2 weeks, if all goes well. I just want to keep the starter evos private for now :D
     
    ok, and about the pokemon sprites. If you already have sketches on them i could try to make them.
