I sighed as she left, and shook my head, going to the table to eat the now0cooled fast food. I wanted to be polite, gracious, the whole lot. But she didn't seem to be letting me. I admitted it, I was in a rut. This was hardly a life, especialy for a villan with my talents, there just wasn't any progression to it...

I didn't know how much later it was, but it obviously hadn't been long, it was still night. I hadn't woken up naturally, and I suddenly rolled to the side as a blade cut the air where I had been sleeping. i saw a man in front of me, dressed like a ninja, blade included. What followed was a series of dodges that I narrowly avoided his blade. Suddenly, he had me aginst the wall with his blade at my neck. "you have slowed down, my sister." he said, withdrawing the blade. I relaxed, and said, unknowingly in open thoughtspeech, <as have you.>

"You are very close to the residential areas. You must have found a vic- ahem, I mean comrade" he said, with emphasis on the last word. "when can we expect the next shipment?"

<Withen a matter of days. This idiot fell for it hook, line, and sinker. I just get him to help me attack a black diamond shipment, then I just turn him into dino chow to keep him from taking any of the dimonds, and to keep him from telling athorities who took the diamonds...>

Unfortunately for Eclipse, I was a ery fast eater, and watched the entire incident from a rooftop with an unreadable expression on my face. Afterwards, I jumped away, speeding towards my apartment. So, she planned to betray me did she? Well, now that I knew ahead of time, I could make some preparations...

<Long as I'm morphed, what say we have a contest?> I asked my brother, staying on my feet easily. But it was rather disturbing that Shadow's scent was from the roof, but I ignored it.

"What kind of contest?" my brother asked, sheathing his blade silently. "The normal?" By "normal" he was referring to contests of who could steal the most by sunrise. I nodded, and on an unseen signal, we took off, preparing to take this city by storm. We kept in contact via thought-speech, bragging to each other about what was going on. It was with him that I had gotten good at stealing, and this was a favorite of ours...

Once I got back to my apartment, I called a very special number, on my illegally modified celluar phone. It would leave a message at the tower the titans insisted on staying in. "Wait for the next major shipment of black diamons." said a harsh, rasping voice. "There will be an attempt to steal them." And I hung up.Then I steeled myself, taking the other big mac, fries, and drink with me for a sugr rush to replenish my ability to change, and took off again out onto the street, looking for Eclipse, or the ninja-garbed male that she had referred to as brother.

Saphira circled around her brother, sending spear-like peices of ice at him. Most hit, but a few killed some of the gaurds. Saphira cursed at herself for hurting them, but had to keep fighting. Blackwolf threw some dark beams at her, and the ice block she was on exploded. Saphira landed on the ground, rolling over before Blackwolf could attack again. She lept to her feet. Ice wasn't going to be enough here.

My first stop was, naturally, the jewelry store, taking just about everything there. I burst out the window, avoiding the police by jumping onto the rooftops, and continuing like that. I could see my brother deciding to take the more complicated way, going for a nearby consert hall. I knew there was some chamber music playing tonight, the filty rich would be there. <lucky little...> I said to him, and I heard his laugh in my mind. I decided to get even, and head after him, killing the guards, and I mainly focused on the thousands of dollars that were paid to get in here. I managed to collect it easily, and slung it across my back, preparing to leave.

I followed them easily, keeping pace, but staying far enough away to be just beyond a raptors senses. I did not want them to find me. I was thinking about what I had done. "Well, not like it really matters." I thought. "If I decide to abandon her, the titans will have her. If I decide to prove that I won't be easy to deal away with, then this will prove it..."

<Game over bro. I win.> I said, unknowingly spreading my thought-speech to Shadow.

<Oh really? what did you find that makes you so confident?> He asked, coming back to me. Then he stared at the treasure trove I had found. Diamonds. No whites though. But one third was red, one third was blue, the last third was black.

<Come on then. Let's get this trove outta here.> I said, as my brother scooped all the diamonds into a large bag, then hopped onto my back with the bag. I took off, getting him out of the building, when suddenly, I smelled Shadow. <Get the diamonds back to base> I said, as he hopped off my back, and i followed the scent. I was curious as to what he was doing here, and I was going to find out...

Unfortunately, my sense of smell was human. I could follow Eclipse by sight though, and I did. Where they were going, I wasn't certain, but I guessed it would be their base of operations. I might as well follow, in case I did decide to make sure to get rid of her. I'd have to take care of her brother too...

Both of us returned to the ocean, though I didn't manage to morph anything more then an icthyosaur once I waded into the water. He grabbed on to my fin, and I pulled him under, swimming for a underwater cavern. We surfaced inside as I demorphed, and I moved out of the water, moving to a large password-protected doorway. I entered the password, and it slid open, as my brother and I smoothly moved through. Inside was a giant computer network, controlled by one large computer nearby, that hummed to life at my entrence. I had made this lab a long time ago, and it was still operationable..

Though it was difficult to keep up with them in the water, I managed it, and waited with my nose just barely above the surface to catch a breath, and ducked down again as I watched her enter the password. I dove back under again, and swam for shore, intending to be home before Eclipse got there.

"Intruder was detected at the entrance upon you entering the password." the computer said, and I moved over, watching the cameras. they played the area where the computer had recorded the intruder. "Shadow. Great. Bro, I need to get going, see you." I said, as I ran out of the base, diving underwater and swimming out of the base, morphing a bird upon getting out of the water and heading on a straight course for Shadow's apartment...

I was waiting in the apartment, casually watching TV topass the time until Eclipse got back. Frankly, now that I was making plans, I would be prepared for just about anything. Even her entering with the knowledge of where I had been, and that was fortunate, considering that's what was likely to happen...

I finally flew in through the window, but I decided that I wasn't even going to talk to him. I moved to the guest room he had mentioned earlier, and morphed human, collapsing on the bed. Not talking to someone was a lot of the time even more painful then chewing them out, and I felt that this would be no different.

I waited calmly for a few moments, and turned back to the TV. Unfortunately for her, I was used to never speaking more than I had to for anyone, though it wasn't by choice. I probably wouldn't even notice the difference in her. If she wanted to bring the problem to the surface, she would have to confront me with it...

OOC: Yo peeps, I'm still grounded andf will only get on once in the next week so I won't post fer now, or even until I get ungrounded, but when I do come back I expect a full report on what's hapened. Is that clear soldier? GOOD!!! Over and out!!

Ooc: Jar-head!!! *mock salute* Sure, once you're ungrounded I'll explain every bit of it!!!

I was still awake, so I relaxed, and said in thought speech to Shadow, <you know, I'm really fearful of this partnership not working out. I'd probably enjoy working for Slade more, and that was just awful.> I wasn't sure if he'd come in or stay out there and use my thought-speech, but it didn't matter to me either way.

I replied to her message thoughtfully. <And just why is that? We've only tried one heist so far, isn't it a bit early to be making an evaluation?> I said, the voice of reason, speaking sagely as I tried to make my tone as convincing as possible.
