<Not for me. it's more then enough. And I've decided, thanks to underwater cameras, that I can't trust you.> Seperate from that message was a private one to my brother, ordering him to change the password. I was still calm, at least, I thought I was, until I looked down and realised that thanks to stress, my lower half had turned into an Icthyosaur's tail. I started trying to morph back to human, but it was painstakingly slow...

"What are you talking about?" I asked, leaning in the doorway to the guest room. I was good at this, my tone, and facial expression carried honest confusion, and if she had a camera, I could still make her think that it wasn't me, or at least, it was likely that I could, if she had brought a picture...

<Don't play dumb with me. my base REEKED of your scent, and I could smell you following us. and if I wasn't busy trying to reverse turning myself into a prehistoric mermaid, I'd show you the recording from the security cameras.>I said, still trying to morph. But it wasn't going so well, my body was just plain refusing to change....

"I don't remember any of this." I said, my tone still honest. "I can wait for the recording, I want to see this." I said, a slight hint of indignation added to my tone, to make it all the more convincing. My plan was already in the works, I just needed to see a still frame....

I ignored his words, and finally deciding better of trying to morph, i managed to grab a Palm Pilot from a nearby table. I took one look at the screen, and I could tell it was recieving the file from themain computer. Finally, it loaded up, and I said "Done. You can still any part of it if you must, but the recording's more then enough proof. And.. there's nothing I can do about the mermaid thing apparently..."

I picked up the pilot, and right when I brushed the surface, I paused it. "Look there," I said, pointing and holding it close to her. "You see that line there at the base of a nose, it's a fake, and wasn't glued securely." I said, in a triumphant tone. "And this red streak is starting to get splotchy, my streaks in my other form are natural, not dye." I said, indicating a shimmer on one red streak. Then I paused, as though thinking about what I was saying. "Who'd want to impersonate me though?"

I looked away for a moment, mentally communicating with my computer. Withen a few moment, crime-lab worthy programs highlighted the areas he had mentioned, and a side bar appeared as it scanned the camera that had been recording it, and bringing up the water tempature and salinity. "It's measuring the accuracy of your statement. There are several things that the camera or the water could have altered, the computer is taking them into effect to correct the image."

"Good," I said, looking at the screen. "Maybe then it might be clear enough to figure out who it is that seems to want to impersonate me." I said, my mind racing. The computer should eliminate the shimmer in the red streak, since that was the water, but the line on the nose was really there, so it should remain clearly...

almost immediatly, the red streak was eliminated, and the computer was about to finalise the image, when it went back, and went over the image again. The computer was an AI accomplishment, it could think for itself. And it chose to eliminate the line, before finalising the image, blaming it on camera angle. "I'm thinking that it's screaming guilty." I said calmly, though glancing back at the tail.

"I think that's an example of flawed artificial intelligence." I said, looking at the photo. "I was never in the place," I said, pointing at the surrounding area in the picture. "And there has to be a way for me to prove it. Any ideas?" I asked, looking at the photo from time to time. If the AI could cheat, so could I...

"The computer doesn't lie." I said, as finally, the computer chose to use the speakers on the palm pilot. "She's right, I don't. However, I DO have a blood sample of the intruder. Bring shadow here with a sample of his blood and I'll scan the DNA."

"You heard the thing." I said, morphing a bird and flying to a window. I had to trust him to bring a sample of his own blood, or I'd rip him open to get it....

Ooc: *points to old reply to that post* (Raven), you decide whether you are or arn't. I can't choose that for you.

Ic: Saphira jumped to her feet, as Blackwolf came at her again. He wasn't going to stop. She could tell he was getting tired. Her older brother might be stronger, but she was more agile. If she could just keep dodging his attacks she could stall enough time for the police, or someone to come.

"Hello, Saphira," A cold voice said from behind her. Saphira jumped, turning to face her old master. He was the same as he was five years ago. There was no way Saphira could fight off Slade and Blackwolf, and if Chaos decided to attack her also she'd lose in a matter of minutes. She needed help.

<OOC>Looks like this'll be a little early, ne, Mistress Saphira?<OOC>
"Can I have her now, Master" I asked, anticipation dripping from my voice. The guards were dispensed with and it was safe for me to go to my pleasure. He nodded. I resheathed the blades, no need to remove the blood from them and kicked Saphira against the wall.

I didn't nod, but walked over to my bathroom. I had several samples of blood stored there, stolen from blood donor banks. Having blood on hand was always handy when feigning your own death. I opened one bag slightl, and collected a sample on a tissue, before cutting my own finger for evidence. I came out, and moved back to the computer. "So, how do you scan this? Where do I place the sample?" I asked, feeling angry at being forced to deal with cheating AI...

Before Saphira could move she was slammed against the wall, almost losing consciousness. What the heck was going on? She had always thought of Chaos as an acquaintance, possibly a friend. But, the more she thought about the looks he always gave her, the more she realized he was faking. Blackwolf smirked, walking away behind Slade.

i immedatly reached into a pocket and got out a tiny hollow needle, and placed it in the blood sample, as immedatly, the screen changed at a multitude of letters appreared on the screen, as the computer started breaking down cells to get at the DNA. Of course, in order to come up with a result, it would have to wade through half a billion lines of code, 99 percent that would be identical. "The computer's not going to be happy about this..." I muttered.

"Sorry, but isn't it the one who suggested a blood sample?" I asked. I honestly wasn't trying to be anoying, but I was honestly curious.Still, I wouldn't let it make Eclipse think I was guilty, that was still my main objective, and I wasn't going to let a bit of AI stop me...

"Yeah, but it kinda has gone braindead about how long DNA strands are. there's only a 10% diffrence between humans and single celled organisims, so with that knowlage, think of how careful the computer has to be with half a billion lines of code, that probably is partially destroyed already." I said calmly. "In all living organisims, DNA is always dying, but is then replenished thanks to protiens. in death, it only takes 6 days for most of your DNA to die."

"I guess it's going to be a while." I said, looking around for a few moments. "Care for anything to eat or drink?" I asked, trying to be polite, even though she didn't seem to trust me. But if I was going to have her trust after this incident, I was certainly going to need to earn it...
