The instant I had gotten out, a rush of wings was heard and talons latched onto Shadow's shoulders, hauling him into the air easily. I couldn't keep this up, I simply wasn't strong enough, but I could get us to safety easily enough. I felt the ruby in my bill, and would have smiled if this form was able to. <I'll probably get us halfway there before I get tired, I've been morphing a lot today. then I can probably morph raptor and make the rest of it easy>

Saphira made her way toward the prision, dreading every step she took. The sounds of fighting echoed through the halls, making her more and more nervous. Was Slade really back? If he was, Saphira was as good as dead...

Blackwolf snarled, fighting his way through all of the people. A new spape emerged from the darkness. Dirty blonde hair, sapphire eyes... Blackwolf uttered a low growl. It was Saphira. He charged at her, eyes alight with anger, jealousy and hatred.

"What the..." Saphira had always assumed Blackwolf was dead. She recalled that one fight... That didn't matter now. Ice beams flew through the air, hitting her brother. He was so intent on killing her he didn't even notice. Blackwolf latched onto her arm, but Saphira managed to push him of. In the midst of their battle, she caught a glimpse of Chaos. So that was where he had disappeared to... He left the titans for Slade...

"Right." I said, I was worn out two, but I could probably hold out until we got to my home. I hoped I could convince her to morph human though. Raptor claws had a tendancy to mess up hardwood floors, judging with dogs and cats as any example, even when they didn't mean too...

Finally, about 3/4ths of the way there, I no longer had the energy to flap my wings. I slowly allowed myself to glide to the ground, gently putting him down, before collapsing nearby in a literal tangle of wings. I slowly morphed back to human, but I didn't get off the ground yet. I was breathing hard, the effort of morphing again and again taking its toll on my body...

I strectched slightly, and yawned, but I still had more than enough energy to get us home. I easily picked her up again gently in my arms, and set off, now at a leisurely pace towards the apartment, where when I arrived, I set her down on the couch. "Ugh, today's been rather exhausting." I said, as I morphed back to normal, and leaned on my walking stick for support.

My condition wasn't improving, i was worn down from the fights all of today. My mind scrolled through the morphs I had gone through, and I finally said "Tell me about it, you arn't the one that keeps morphing pterosaur, dinosaur, and plesiosaur" though I didn't move. My body no longer responded to the commands from my mind, I had been absoloutly drained from 5 years of hardly morphing, then suddenly morphing at least 5 times in a few hours.

"True, but I've spent the last several hours in and out of my form, it is draining, you know." I said, barely managing to get over to a chair and fall into it. I felt stronger than I had any ight to though, after the ordeal. "I think this partnership has a lot of possibilities." I said, trying to start conversation to pass the time until I had energy to either go get, or make some dinner.

"Depends. There are a lot of areas where I don't see this working out. Such as the fact that I keep forgetting to tell you that when I'm in morph, you can use thought-speech with me. If I forgot important details like that, who knows what else I'm forgetting." I said, as I remembered when I used sauropod morphs, a lot of times they failed because somebody would climb onto my back and slash at me from there, since i could never use them...

I triple-kicked another guard in the chest, sending him toppling end over end with a roken spine and sternum. There was Saphira. Pity now wouldn't be te best of opportunites, but so it went. I could wait. Besides, an aleyway would be preferable. I didn't like witnesses, even if there were allied with me.

I leaned back in my chair, and said "I should have told you that my ability to transfer perfection to others drained me a lot more than using it on myself, but I didn't. It's human to forget, and we're only slightly above human." I said reassuringly, as I began to think about what I wanted for dinner, forcefully keeping my eyes away from the now human eclipse's form.

"But you get my point. That, and the demonstration at the museum was pretty poor. If that guard's still alive, we have a witness. meaning that now I'm going to have to go make SURE he's dead." I said as I morphed Pteranodon, and took off, heading back to the museum. I managed to get a perch above it, and I looked down through the glass on the roof. The guard was still there, but I could see him stirring. With a singular movement, I smashed the glass, swooping down and picking him up. I carried him out to the roof, as I morphed yet again to raptor. I was catching my breath quickly, growling, as I prepared the final step to making absoloutly certain this guy wouldn't be able to talk. I could see the police surrounding the building, but I wasn't worried...

I could see the guard waking up, and the final attack came in slow motion. I slammed him to the ground, and moved him onto his stomach. I saw him reaching for his gun, and I moved it away with one claw. I placed my claw onto his back, and dug it into him, as he screamed, getting the attention of the officers, but they couldn't do anything yet. Finally, i lowered my head to his skull, as I cleanly bit through the back of it. How he lived even for a moment, I didn't know, but he managed to grab his gun and sink a bullet into me. It didn't matter, it would just drain more energy from me when I morphed...

Blackwolf morphed into a human, and kicked Saphira, causing her to lose her balence for a moment. That moment was all he needed. Saphira cursed and gritted her teeth as Blacwolf twisted her arms behind her, causing as much pain as he could. Saphira shot a few ice beams at him. Luckily, one hit him in the face, giving Saphira the chance to break out of his hold.

"You've weakened..." Her brother commented, smirking. Saphira came at him again, aiming a kick at his face. Blackwolf was wrong. He ended up on the ground, bleeding.

"Or not... But, you're still younger than me." Blackwolf stood up, shooting a dark beam at Saphira. She lept onto a piece of ice. Oh ****... I forgot he could do that...

I loked dowjn as she left. Pretty poor? I never liked pointless destruction, and despised killing without a reason. The only reason I had resorted to villany was that then I wouldn't be pitied for my weakness in my normal form. I sighed. POerhaps she didn't know how I felt on the subject. I decided that I was in no mood to cook anything, and went out to McDonalds, getting the sterotypical dinner. Two supersized Big-mac meals, and returning to the apartment, setting them out at the table, and returned to my reclining chair, awaiting her return.

Finally, I morphed, though incredibly weakened, and headed back, though knowing men, I decided to stop by the ocean, managing to come down right above the waves. My pelican-like bill allowed me to catch fish and keep them in my bill, as I was swallowing fish at a high rate. Finally, with about 5 in my bill, I left the ocean, returning to the apartment. I landed inside the room, working on swallowing the fish, deciding to stay a pterosaur. I had a hard time walking, since this form was all flying, and it took a bit to swallow all the fish without chocking...

"I had already made preparations." I said, indicating the table with the food set out. My tone wasn't chiding however, more of speculative. I couldn't blame her. If she had spent five years in morphs, she should be used to finding her own food...

<I'm on a diet.> I said, trying to morph and realising I was out of energy. <great, out of morphing energy.> I said, resting aginst the wall. I was drained to the point where I was sore. it would take a bit before I even got enough energy to get back to human. I made a low cooing sound as I relaxed, testing my energy every few moments. If I began morphing too soon, I had a high possibility of getting stuck mid-morph...

"Relax, you won't gain weight around here, I can tell you that from expierience." I said, making a mental note not to tell her exactly why she wouldn't. I had a feeling she would not apreciate it if she knew...

I looked toward him, and said <I'd ask, but I feel that if I knew, I'd be ripping you down the middle as a large carniverous dinosaur.> Finally, I managed to morph back to human, but I nearly passed out from the effort. I didn't remember being this tired in a long time, I was breathing hard, and I felt that if I layed down, I'd probably fall asleep in moments...

"No, probably not." I said, but I didn't elaborate. I instead moved a feew steps closer, and said "I know you're dead tired, I can see it. I have a guest room down the hall, first door on the right, but you can sleep anywhere you want to." I said, being as gracious as I could, since I obviously couldn't by buying her dinner...

"I'll be okay when I can morph again. Expect to see a pteranodon on the roof tomarrow." I said, using the final, absoloute rock bottom of my morphing abilities to morph raptor, and leap out the window, hitting the ground running. I retreated to a dark alley, out of sight, and I plopped down, curling up, falling asleep instantly.
