Meh. At least there was still good in him... I have a Q for you guys -- which did ya like more -- the atmosphere in 1,2 and 3, or the atmosphere in 4,5, and 6?
4,5,6 looked a bit like oldies but I kinda liked 'em more actually...

Same as Kira, for me it kind of goes backwards in order of preference. I like 6, then 5, ten 4, in order of atmosphere

Tch. I would say 6 > 4 > 5 > 1 > 2 > 3 as atmosphere. The 3rd was the grimmest of all eps...
What? I don't know the order of numbers...? Maybe I have ta do school all over again... o.0

No, you dont have to learn the numerical system. I have lost count of now many times I have tried to explain the order of the Star Wars films to non-fans, and it is quite frustrating.

Oh, yeah, they seem ta confuse their chronological order with the order in which they were made, an' therefor don't really understand the action in 1, 2, an' 3, tch, they really should learn it since it ain't THAT complicated!

Correct me if i'm wrong but didn't it go 4,5,6,1,2,3.

WE're talking in terms of mood and theme of the movies. And it seems that the older movies are winning.

Well yeah the older movies were alot better.

If only they had the technology like we have now.

Tch. I dunno if it was necessarily the atmosphere, that made them better, but the fact that they weren't so much apart form eachother, chronologically speaking, and didn't change the characters so often -- 4,5 and 6 were days or weeks apart from eachother while as with 1, 2 an' 3 they're about 10-15 years apart from eachother... >_<

Not to be a mynock-picker, but story-wise and chronologically, this is how they went:
Ep 1 - 10 years - Ep 2 - 3 years - Ep 3 - 19 years - Ep 4 - 3 years - Ep 5 - 3 years - Ep 6

Thanx for tha details Murpheous. ^_^
Wow, 3 years in between tha first trilogy? Seemed like much less... o.0
Eh, anyways I can see tha big time gap between 3 an' 4... @_@
Eh, they kept changin' the atmosphere too much in tha 2nd trilogy, an' besides it didn't have that feel of a long-lost-hope-comin'-ta-life-an'-things-settin'-themselves-straight that tha 1st trilogy had... an' besides, tha same plot extended itself throughout 4,5, an' 6, unlike 1 an' 2.
One scene I liked most of all in 3 though -- the ending, when Obi-Wan gives Luke to a foster family. The atmosphere there seems ta have something in it that 4,5, an' 6 had, an' because of tha feeling it left me I think I know what it is too -- hope.

Meh. Tch. I guess that's one detail George Lucas didn't think about. ^^;;

ITs just the look of the actorsI guess. Tak a lot of high-school movies, where the actors playing the high school students are like 25 to 30. It's a technicality

Tch. I guess so... well at least they made tha ghost of Anakin in the endin' scene of ep 6 match the actual Anakin in ep 3 quite nicely. ^^;;

yeah that's true he does look like him pretty good.

Tch. Yeh, well I kinda had doubts that they'd be able ta do another set o' SW movies without messin' up somewhere in tha continuity of tha story but George seems ta have known what he was doin' pretty well, eh, I never should've doubted him. ^_^

About the ghost of Ep 3 Anakin Skywalker at the end of Ep 6, I heard that a lot of fans of the original trilogy were dissapointed by that, that it wasnt 'original'.

Off the topic a little, Australia saw the second-last episode of The O.C, Season Two, and who was the special guest star? None other than thy Master, George Lucas! I thought that was pretty cool of him to do a spot on a show like that.

Hehe,

I saw Star wars 3 again this morning.

I can't help it i'm hooked on it.But again i nearlly cried once the jedi were betrayed and the real sad music started.
