The Argentinian Peso is melting down before my eyes and I'm starting to get worried. I know I'll leave this country in 5 months and it takes a while to kickstart hyperinflation but I really really really hope things get saner next week.

I need to learn how that kind of stuff works. And discover for once what is so devilish about Communism and Socialism.

I'd say there's nothing inherently devilish about socialism, but then again I live in a traditionally socialist country. :P
The American dislike for socialism is, if one were to simplify, really just a remnant of the cold war. Then again Soviet was a really good example of socialism gone wrong, so who can blame them.

You shouldn't do that, Metal Gear person.

Third day in a row I'm buying the two main Argentinian newspapers. I seem to have a thing for giant headlines about "Government in chaos", "Nobody knows what will happen on Monday", "Shops closed and refusing to sell anything until a value for the dollar is actually stablished", "European stock markets plummeting" and "Central Bank bleeding millions of dollars every day".

I haven't had pancakes in around 5 years. Hm.

I did have panqueques in here, qhich are kind of similar but in Argentinian version.
