Music That song/album got me through a tough time...

Perhaps it's why it's still my favorite album to this day, but Kings of Leon's Come Around Sundown comes to mind. I listened to it religiously when it came out my freshman year of college. I can vividly remember when we actually got snow here and I would listen to Pyro and think it ironic because of the scenery and I'd hope it would warm me in some way. Second semester of freshman year didn't go so hot and it's about all I listened to that didn't merely serve as distraction.

Not an album in particular, but I spent about three days binging on nothing but Bob Dylan's music back in...I think it was 2012. It was just various music across different albums of his, but regardless, that's why his music has such a great impact on me. Sometimes a song is there for you more than people, you know?

Most songs by Simple Plan such as Welcome to My Life and Lucky One are ones that often get me through a lot, and they also have in the past. Simple Plan is one of my most favorite bands because I know I wouldn't be here if not for them in my life. I also want to give kudos to Missing You and Therapy by Simple Plan, along with Linkin Park.

Images & Words from Dream Theater. Learning to Live was just the song I needed to hear at that specific time.

You've Got Another Thing Comin' by Judas Priest pushed me through math class last year.

I wouldnt exactly describe that as a tough time, but when I did encounter darker times in my life music wasnt the thing that kept me going.

Both strong happy and very regretful memories float up from this song. But it sure kept me afloat when things were particularly rough.
