That is an argument that I don't care for. I would have someone tell me the blunt truth about my faults to me directly then have them sneak about talking to others behind my back. Hurt feelings over the truth is a no brainer, because at least then I can improve myself.
But some people on here are much younger and some people might not read the same way into something or be as mature. Plus 'she has issues' isnt a critique to someone, its just saying something vague and rude. Talking to her about exactly whats up is tellig the truth and helping them try to be a better person but just saying someone has issues to everyone who reads it doesnt have any postitive intention to it, its just saying something more likely to be harmful. I dont like people talking behind backs either but if youre really just gunna say somethig rude than i suggest finding someone who stays unbiased to talk to or be the bigger person and hold your tongue. If just rather not watch a group break into a fight over someones opinion of another person in a place meant to be fun for everyone playing. Something small like that could also start a huge chain of rumors or bullying and Im not watching someone else go through that too.
Cmon lets be patient hes probably asleep rn and wants to give others a chance to vote, knowing Legend he'll continue by tomorrow or Monday if not all votes are in. Lets play some other games and stuff in Trivia and the the Playground to pass the time.
Hey now, let's not get too worked up. Yes, the comment can be interpreted as rude and that should be acknowledged, but a public callout post is not the way to do so. It's always better to politely toss a VM/PM to a person explaining why they shouldn't say such things. If you really need to you can even ask a staff member for help, but putting this argument in the thread? Let's not.
Listen guys, I'll say this only once, all the arguments stay out of this Thread. You have ur own GCs, do anything u want out there. And u also have PMs/VMs, use all these mediums to solve issues u have with other Members (or even me), this Thread has to stay clean of all that stuff.
This is supposed to be a fun Event, so I'm not saying don't have fun or don't have off-topic chit-chat, feel free to do that, coz that lets u know more about people around the Event & I made some good friends doing that, on my previous Event. Playful teasing, leg pulling is also okay, even I do that don't I? But if someone doesn't like it, don't do it, stop right there.
And guys who were on Survivor know that I can be brutally honest, I'm not afraid to speak my mind & call a spade a spade, if the need be. I don't want things spiraling out of control like on the previous Event & the Event getting stalled for days at end.
As far as time limit goes, everyone has a rl, everyone's on different times zones & people can't login on days, which I why I give everyone ample time. I can have one for Votes & Challenges, but the condition is that no one complains about not being able to be online & if people do not Vote within the time limit, it counts as a self Vote against them. Is that okay with everyone?
This is a Big Event & some Challenges need some setting up, before I can put them here & to see if other people who are to be involved in the Challenge are free or not. If not, I have to quickly think of another Challenge, which is not easy. So u guys need to have some patience.
And for Challenges, this is supposed to be a "race", so it has to be time-based. The best I can do, is put up Challenges at different times, so that there's no time advantage for anyone. As more of u get eliminated, we'll move on to more Challenges based on skill.
And again, this is a Forum, with limitations, so doing an "original" Amazing Race here, is impossible, which is why I innovated stuff & made everything clear on the OP.
Please guys, this is supposed to be a fun Event, constant arguing, questioning, only makes people hold grudges against each other, which only makes things worse.
We are here to make friends isn't it, at least that's the purpose I put up Events, to interact with people, know more Members around here.
I'm hoping that we can all have good understanding, work together as a team here & make this Event a big success :).
Okay so getting back to business, the next Challenge is gonna be similar to the previous one, but there a little catch here - Special Rewards are gonna come into play.
All those people who have won rewards, please use ur rewards, RIGHT NOW. I've already told u how to use them, so I'm sure there should be no confusion. If there is, just do as I instructed u & I'll explain the rest.
Also use your mentors: me (moon) and Brendino (sun). Srsly pm anything you want to say to anyone to us. Don't fight w/ others in the thread - we can sort it privately.

"Mentors"? LegendChu made a passing reference to possibly seeing you as a mentor, but it was never explained what that is and I never saw you nor Brendino appointed. Am I missing something?

Forever (for Team Moon) & Brendino (for Team Sun) will be acting as mentors & have access to their Team's respective Group Chats. Forever already introduced herself on her GC, I'm sure Brendino will do so soon, must be busy, he has other stuff to take care of being mod of multiple sections.
I'm hosting the Event, so u must be ready for surprises, hehe >:).
Btw, a few changes to Rules, coz everyone is on different Time Zones, Special Rewards can now be used any time & on any Challenge, after I make the announcement, or else it'll waste more time.
Okay might as well reveal it. The top three, according to total scores in the First two Challenges - Juno, Salzorrah & Flare (DyingWillFlareon) earned themselves Special Rewards, which is not good news for at least three of u.
