and besides, the Rapid-Spinner is already Donphan
 
We're missing a physical sweeper. Dragonite falls, we're doomed.
 
Im with you dude, bu apparently we need a water move more than Weavile/Genagr amazing combo. And Donphan is a physical tank, so Donphan+Weavile=Physical, but we do have a small lack of physical
 
I second Weavile, but let me sleep on the Gengar decission overnight.
 
I was just going on the majority, whcih ahs suddenly swerved. But as of right now Starmie is superior, a secondary Ice Move and Surf are too important at this moment anyways.
And Water has good type coverage for effecting almost everything, that's why it helps.

And how does Dragonite fail? It's low speed? I guess as the main sweeper it doesn't work.

I didn't say fail, I said FALL. As in "if he FALLS, we need another physical sweeper".
 
O, ya i'm a little slow tonight, can't figure out why though.
well There's Donphan, his moveset isn't geared towards that but he's deffinately prepared.

I don't like the idea of Jolteon AND Weavile on the same team, I don't know why. They just don't seem suited to be on the same team, it gives me an uncomftorable feeling.

This Starmie is geared to special sweeping.

As for the physical sweeper it is up to you guys. Though Donphan and Bronzong to some effect will have their fare share of hurting.

Jolteon is <3. Counters so many opening Pokemon and can escape Dugtrio's wrath via Baton Pass. Though Dragonite is useful since he is part flying. :D
 
I say Gengar is perfect, if you baton-pass out to a Gengar, it could OHKO Starmie easily. And if we NEED a water move, Gengar with HP water. And Weavile with Ice Punch.

Starmie only has 5+ Base speed and a much lower Sp. Attack, but it is only used because of it's amazing moveset that Gengar can already COVER WITH HIDDEN POWER! :\

Special Sweeping is much well done with Focus Sash Gengar to go anti-dragon dancing or Speed passers.

and on the plus, Gengar also gives Blissey in our team full immunity, and that should be double-checked for you Starmie fans ?_?
 
Ya HP water instead of what? I'm more of a Dragonite supporter anyways. It was boltbeaming STABed Surf and Psychic i liked. I like Gengar better too, but besides resistances its movepool still isn't as valuable.
 
Honestly, Hidden Power ICE doesn't pack the same punch as Ice Beam. They shouldn't be compared.

STABed Psychic is never used, in fact if Rapid Spin doesnt cover the fourth move of Psychic it's going to be Grass Knot which covers the Swampert walling

sims it doesn't matter now compared Gengar and Starmie's special attack, Gengar has 30+ base special attack stat, so if the Hidden Power is 70, it would STILL be stronger than Starmie's Ice Beam ---
 
DNite because it can switch in with ease after you predict either a Fighting move on Blissey or Fire move on Bronzong :)
