Thought this would be an awful lot of fun at 2:30 AM when I should be sleeping.

My name is Firebolt (shocker!) and this is my AMA. To kick off, I'm a uni student doing my last year of my degree and I work part-time (if you can call it that) at my parents' pizza bar. I like Fire Emblem, Pokemon (I'm just full of surprises here), and... Well I think that's enough to start us off. It'd be no fun if I gave all the answers in the first post.

And my username was completely accidental; I have no relation to the broomstick. AMA!

Oh boy. I like to make my own pizza and everyone teases me how it takes me like ten minutes to make.

I start of with a base that's a mixture of pizza sauce and a bit of sweet chilli sauce. Them it's a bit of cheese, mushroom, diced capsicum (peppers) and onion. Then I add some herbs, garlic, chilli flakes, a touch of jalapenos and fresh tomatoes, with a little bit more cheese to keep it altogether.

Funnily enough, I don't like anyone else making this because no one can make it how I like it. Even with the base, my dad always puts too much sweet chilli and not enough pizza sauce (it's a very delicate balance perfected over the seven years or so I've been at the shop).

what do you do at your parents' pizza bar?

Mostly order taking and working at the oven. Doing the oven is my favourite because I don't have to talk to people it's like a mini management game trying to maintain two belts of food coming out without making mistakes. It tickles the little control freak within me.

if someone was visiting adelaide for a weekend, what would you recommend them to do?

Nothing, because there's nothing to do in the City of Churches.

But for real, Adelaide has one of the best wine valleys in the world. If you're into that, visiting the Barossa Valley during the relevant season could be a pretty pleasurable experience. If you're looking at something sooner, we've got the Anime and Video game Convention (AVCON) coming up really soon. Of course not as good as the other states, it's still a cool experience I guess if you're a nerd like me.
