So what do you think of all the extra evolutions and prevolutions added to older Pokémon in Gen IV, like Rhypherior?

Now you mention that, yes. The "trade while holding an item" type evolution already existed, but evolve with a certain move was a nice addition. It's really funny, because I think I own a Piloswine with Ancient Power in FireRed and it doesn't evolve. :(

Not a Rhyhorn fan, sorry. But I love how cool and unique evolution methods have become lately, especially Inkay with the whole "upside down" thing.

I don't particularly love Rhyhorn but I hold nothing against it and besides, Rhyhorn racing was fun, even though I could crawl faster with two broken knees xP
