I never played in the BF other than Rental Battles anyways,, so I didn't mind, but I know a lot of people loved it so it is pretty confusing, maybe it's the only thing they left in for battle compatibility between Oras and XY?

I did always love Rental Battles, that game mode was a lot of fun and great for trying out new Pokémon. I didn't tend to do much in the Battle Frontier areas because I'm not so keen on the competitive side of Pokémon (at least I wasn't back then), but they Rental was always fun.

It could always be for the reason that it gets added via either DLC or a future game. I'd put money on the next game(s) connecting XY & ORAS together, in which we could see a Battle Frontier.

I absolutely loved the Battle Frontier! It gave me so much to look forward to during the postgame of HG/SS. Is there any chance of the Battle Frontier becoming some sort of DLC for OR/AS?

OMG BLUE YOU NINJA'D ME HARD

The Battle Factory was just great. You get decent Pokémon without having to make sure your Pokémon have perfect IVs and EVs and the swapping system is fun to play with. I also liked to play the Battle Pyramid now and then. Overall the Battle Frontier is a great way to get items like leftovers and king's rocks.

The Battle Factory is pretty nice, but it does take some considerable luck. xD As for the Battle Pyramid, it was so awesome that I honestly have no clue why it wasn't included in Generation IV's Battle Frontier.

What did you guys end up spending the points on? I usually just got enough for the training items and then stopped altogether haha.

6.

Yeah, it was mostly for the training items, haha. Maybe there were a few other competitive items that I needed, but I think they were pretty expensive.

Did you guys play the frontiers for fun or just for the points? Personally I was the latter, competitive battling didn't become a big thing for me until a year or so ago haha.

6.

I'd personally say that it was a little bit of both... although the Pokémon World Tournament completely outclassed it in both regards, haha. (I swear I made at least 500 BP off of that PWT!)

7

PWT and Subway are the only facilities I enjoy honestly. The others can get annoying. :/
If they would put the PWT back into new games.......

8.

As much as I love the PWT, it really makes me question the timeline of the games, haha.

7

PWT is another thing I've not given much time to - is this something worth trying/are the rewards good?

8.

Yes, totally! Not only is it really fun, but you get ridiculous amounts of BP out of it, haha.

9

I don't really pay muvh attention to how much BP I earn, but doesn't the Driftveil tornament only give you 2?

10. (Reset - complete!)

I believe it's something along those lines, but the later tournaments yield so much more! However, the specific amount will depend on the number of Pokémon on your team that didn't faint in battle.

Oh, ok. Do you unlock more tornaments by beating the League? I haven't beaten the White 2 League yet but I heard you can battle previous Gym Leaders at PWT but I haven't seen them, I'm assuming that's why?

12.

Yep, you first need to unlock the "Unova Leaders" tournament by beating the Elite Four, and after beating that, you'll have access to the other regions' leaders. After beating all of them, you'll unlock the "World Leaders" tournament, and finally, after clearing that 10 times, you can finally fight the Champions!

I spent my BP on a few leftovers and some move tutors (Endure on Dodrio and I think some more, but I can't remember), but I don't really need any more BP at the moment, but still play in the Battle Frontier sometimes, just for fun. And it saves some BP for later if I might need some then.
