FOR: Ooka/Name: Both are very experienced battlers, and have had great overall success in battling at PC. I would love to battle Name, but hence it is yet to happen, although I can vouch for Ooka. (Although I think the ledger for OU stands at 3-1 to me. ;))

AGAINST: Well, I suppose me. No-one seems to like me much, I've been active lately, but I suppose I'm just not likeable enough. I will watch on with interest though.

Anyways, I nominate celestial_okami. I've battled you, and I think you have plenty of skill, at least more than you give yourself credit for. You show plenty of knowledge about competitive battling, and I believe that's what the tournament is, although if it isn't I don't know why I'm here :P

The reason I believe I should participate is I've seen plenty of battles while I've been here at PC. I've traveled to Smogon and Marriland, and to be honest, I think the best trainers reside here. Aside from lots of battling experience, I practically read Serebii and Smogon in my spare time, so I know all of the OU standards, and most of the UU. Of course I don't have very good luck (Tortured_Soul can be testimate to that, seeing as how 2 of his wins were sheer luck :P) so I hope that doesn't cause a lose for us.
 
Heh, I was under the impression that I could only vote for one. As the rest of you voted for more I will do also:

Ooka, Name, Shiraishi, sims796, & Tortured_Soul.

Add in Richard Steel to the bunch, and you have my best battles in history, XD.

Name has swept my whole team with one wicked beast, sims796 abused me with UU's losing partially because of Hax, Tortured_Soul had a battle which ended 3-4 after 90 minutes had passed, Ooka swept my whole team with a particularly strong UU, & Shiraishi has never been able to lose to me, despite my efforts. :D

Yeah, I just recalled past battles with these guys. All of them deserve the spot. ^^
 
Oh, we can vote for more than one? Alright.

Alakazam17, Richard Steel, Shirashi, Tortured_Soul, Name.

I've only beaten Alakazam 2/5 times that we've battled. I've only beaten Richard 2/million times we've battled. I've only battle Shirashi about 5 times (counting when his account name was Cakekun) and I've beaten him about 3 out of those 5. Tortured_Soul has won against me 1/3 times. And me and Name have a tied score, 1/1. So that's why I believe they should all be in, because they've beaten me a respectable amount of times.

(That is if Richard wants in xD)

Here are my votes:

Ooka - Ooka in my mind is an amazing battler. He has many different pokemon that can be used, a great strategy in every match, and shows his knowledge by helping his fellow "Clan" members out. When I battle him, I must admit, I know I will lose from the very beginning, but he inspires me to at least think up a new team. xD He's helpful and a big asset to our "Clan" and I feel that he should represent us in any way possible.

Name - Although I don't believe I have battled you before (I'll have to check my battle records) from all the things I've heard about you, you must be an awesome battler. You tried to leave the "Clan" for it's own good, and that's a big sacrifice. I think that being able to do that shows that you have maturity and that you should do well in any clan events that take place.

Alakazam - Again, I don't think I have faced you ever in my life. I nominate you because of all the good feedback you get after battles. You seem amazing to me, you're a great addition to the "Clan", and you boast those fifty pokemon that you use in battle. What you have said is true about having the opponent not knowing who you will take in to the battle.

Mullac - Since you have so many dang awesome IV'd pokemon, I'm sure that you could do awesome in the war. Other than that, you've helped me out a lot with my soon to be team. I really want to officially thank you for all those pokemon and I hope that you get completely nominated into the war.

SharinganFlames - Haven't battled you in so long, but honestly, I remember you. I actually added you to my buddy list because you were such a great member of the "Clan". Also I haven't battled you lately, but it really sounds like you're a very good battler. I hope you do well in the war because it seems you have a lot of nominations.

Warheart - Yes, I know you left. Sadly, I didn't wish you did. I'm just saying this because you could always make me laugh. I've battled you before way back in the summer, and I think that you should represent us. If you don't see this in time, I still want you to re-join. I think you deserve a high spot in the "Clan", and maybe it should be my position as recruiter.

And last but not least...

Okami - You are the new leader of the "Clan" and I can't thank you enough for keeping this place going. I'm positive you're a great battler which is part of the reason I want you to represent us. Not only that, but you have helped supply me with items that are vital to the online game. I really hope you go through and have a great time in the war.

As for me - I don't want to sound cocky or anything, because I'm not all that great. Actually I just completely suck. xD I want to nominate myself mainly because this war would be a lot of fun. I think I do quite a good job in the "Clan", kind of helping out. xD I really need to get the recruits, but none of them are on when I'm on. This will make the Academy awesome because I can't wait to teach them.

And that's it. I may have forgotten someone, but I can't place my finger on who. (If I remember, it's not because you're forgettable, it's because my memory is horrible sometimes)

And this took less time to type than it looks because I knew what I wanted to say about everyone...and my amazing 80 WPM typing ability. xD

I nominate Saba, yes, I know I've 5-0d you with a Chatot before, but you improve after every battle, and most of your team is UU anyways. If you do get accepted into the Clan war, I'll lend you some of my Pokes :D You try, that's the main reason I believe you should be in this Clan war.

Shiraishi, goodness, this guys a monster when I don't get my predictions straight in, the first battle we had, he almost obliterated my team if it weren't for that one FreezeHax (Salamence/Kage, you remember now Cake? =P), the second battle we had was also very haxed up, in my favor =P

sims is one of the greater battlers, one of the best at using UU Pokemon next to Samson,

Ooka's the first one to end my winning streak of one team (To help you remember, our record is probably larger than 1/1, my Lucario failed to KO your Electivire with Extremespeed, do you remember now?),

Alakazam17 BEAT me the time I was using the test team (his Magnezone went boom on me T_T),

Tortured Soul has beaten Shiraishi, thats proof enough for me,

SharinganFlames, the first battle we had, you abused your Gengar's Hypnosis on me, but since then, you've improved crazily

I also nominate Sabaku, but I want to get to battle him first
 
Ah, and Shiraishi. That's who I forgot!

Shiraishi - Never battled you myself again. The reason I want to nominate you is because all of the people you have in favor of you. It's incredible that so many people say how amazing you are. I really want to battle you for myself once I get my next team together. Another reason is how you progressed through my New Year's Tournament. You beat Ooka who I think is an awesome battler. I can't remember the exact score but was it 3-0?

And I completely forgot sims belonged here.

sims - What do I need to say about you? You're just all around a great person. You can battle well I believe. I think I have faced you before and you demolished me. You're always hanging around the Strategies spot, this tells me that you know what you're talking about when you build a team. I really want to face you in a UU battle once I finish my UU team.

(And Thanks Ooka. xD 1 vote! I'm on a roll!)

Name, I'll battle you as soon as I finish my OU team. xD I don't have a good team yet at all.

i vote for ooka and sharinganflame.

like the other posts said, ooka is a great battler and has a beast of a feraligatr, and when i battled sharinganflame, i thought his team was really good.
 
Wow, I voted for exactly 10 people including myself. What are the chances for that? (I say the limit should be ten since we will only have ten representatives.)

Just remembered that sims can't battle. V_V Poor guy, it would have been awesome for him to represent us. xD

OH! And abortion is wrong and should be illegal...(sorry just finished writing a 200 word essay about it...xD So I feel I should spread the word.)

Hmm, I'll nominate Ooka, celestial Okami, and TDB leader. They're the only ones I've battled, so they're the only ones I know well.

I'd be bad for the clan war because I'm often unable to access my computer after 10 pm east coast time. I don't have pokemon with perfect IVs, but pretty high ones.

I'd be good because I've got a Sandstorm team that can adapt to lots of situations, I make smart moves in a battle, and know all the ins and outs of good battling.


Off topic: I agree 100%, Sabaku no Gaara. Abortion is just wrong. ;)
 
Nah iwouldnt want to battle i have been having a giant slump and woudlnt want to tarnish the beautiful quatation marks before and after the word clan

The "clan" < that is beuatiful

and besides ii stiill can't figure out a really good flying team ._.

Anyway, Ooka, if you're on, do you have access to your DS today? If so could I trade over two of my pokemon today?

I GOT AN IDEA! For the clan war, we could have someone make a "trophy" badge like thing. The winner of the clan war gets to put that in their main thread to show off victories. ^^ This would be kind of cool. Too bad I can't make anything...hehehehe. Or else I would. (The light line that flashes over the badges are kind of cool. We should do that for the "trophy".)
