The "clan" Organization thread V.4

Alright it's my turn to speak....Ahem.

Anyway....I think the changes that are being made are fine. Accepting newer members both skilled and unskilled and trying to make them better is a great idea in my opinion.

But....because we are doing this I think we should have a more organized system. As in I think we should still have people get tested to get to see where THEY GET PLACED. Not if they get in or not because they will always get in. If it seems like someone needs some work with there team / battling skills then there should be a rank we can place them in and then the higher ups in the clan will do everything they can to make them better. As in...

Leader - Head or the clan organizes the clan and can do tests battles
Co-Leader- Helps in managing the clan and does test battles
Regular members-Skilled battlers that can help other members with teams, strategies how to to battle competitively, etc.
Trainees- Members that are still in the clan but that everyone will help become a better battler and should ask for help with there teams and etc.

It doesn't need to be EXACTLY like this but I still think the clan needs to be more organized and such for this all to work out and for us to help out other battlers.

Also I'm open for test battles.

I still would like to stress the idea of re-instating the Clan Academy.
 
Look I don't care how it happens I just want it more organized if having the academy will do this and make it better by all means I'm for it.
 
I believe we should be organized but without ranks, ranks makes everything to competitive and thats just not fun. Maybe we should like vote and stuff...we could create the first republic of the Clan XD

I'm quitting because obviously there's something going on between them now that I have no control over..APPARENTLY NOS HAS MOVED ON AND FOUND SOMEONE ELSE, SOMEONE BETTER AT POKEMON THAN I AM ;_;

Anyways, guys..stop bitching what goes on here. If you don't like something about how it's being run rather than demanding in obsessive newb-speak, and getting all pissed off about it, just make a suggestion on what you would like to change.

I mean, if you don't like something, you can leave..no one's stopping you from just turning and going..we're not fascists ._.;

There's obviously some confusion in the purpose of this clan based on what changed when Okami took it over, but hopefully that will get resolved soon o_o
 
Without ranks there will be no organization. And with all the members we may be getting I personally think we need the organization.

I may not be 100% sure as to the purpose of the clan but what I do know is we're comrades and friends, and we should not be bickering. I think thats the complete opposite of our purpose. I agree with Murderface in saying to stop "*****ing" just politely give suggestion. No need to get all flustered as we are all working towards the same goal ^.^

i have battled Loto to get in the clan.
 
Alright I tested Taylor, NoS add him to the members list please.

Now as for our battle....something I noticed was that Skarm should not really be running Night Slash. It has no Stab, won't do any damage and serves no real purpose with being on him.

Now I noticed you have a fairly well built team though but my lucario just went right through it. Switching in skarm right off the bat against lucario might of been the best choice because you didn't have much to counter it really and seems to be a major weakness o your team when your gyarados is dead because that is your only real lucario counter.

When Skarm came in you should of uses Whirlwind to phaze my lucario out and get rid of it's stat boosts was your only real hope with the team you had and position you were in.

All in all your a fine battler and just need to work on your team some more and welcome to the clan!
 
Well, I battled Vendetta yesterday. I'm NOT a tester but I look how he battle... He have a pretty good team but he lacks some experience on competitive play... prove of that is that he didn't equip items on his pokemons. Anyways his movesets wasn't so bad, I outpredict him sometimes, but that's only experience with the battles and the metagame...

Also If we don't have 2 factions of the clan at least we can make a tutoring program (like Ooka one...) for those new players...

Alright KNIGHT_OF_ARCEUS welcome to the The Clan

Anyway....your team seems to lack walls. Makes it hard to counter some things right? I suggest you tweak your team a little and add some in. You do have snorlax as a special wall but I don't see any physical wall on your side and D/P metagame has a VERY physical nature. I mean metagross can absorb some physical hits but still your gonna want a real defense wall on your team.

You also need to work on your predicting it seemed very easy to guess what you were going to do and I know that comes from battling experience and learning the metagame so work on that as well is my suggestion.

Add him to the list NoS when you get on.
