25062. There is a certain point for threads heavy on posts to stay open. Depending on the weight of the thread, it could put a strain on the database and would be harder to purge. To prevent this happening, the weighty threads must be closed and restarted if they may. This is why the old 'The One Above' thread was closed and eventually restarted.
 
The main problem is: should we restart from 1, or keep the counting since the point where the thread was closed?

25065. That is completely up to you, Went. This is your forum of power and whatever you says goes. If you seem partial to carrying on the count from a new thread, then you may go ahead and do that. Or you could start from fresh, which is more than likely to agitate some members.
