They are, but it isn't really a big deal unless you're departing/landing where it takes forever for everyone to get in or out.

I try to avoid planes at all, I hate them. It takes too much time, there's always an old man that snores, and a baby that cries during the whole flight.

I feel like I'm the only person who isn't really bothered by crying babies on flights. I just tune it out within 5 minutes.

Snoring and baby cries are the few noises that instantly get me angry ^^"

Noise cancelling headphones :coolcat:
Ihave two questions about noise-cancelling headphones: how do they work? and do they work in the first place? XD
I've never had the feeling that my headphones were cancelling any noise?

They don't completely mute the noise, but it helps out a TON!

Depends. First of all: there are two types of "noise canceling":
1. passive nois canceling
2. active noise canceling

Passive noise canceling is done by the material the headphones are made of. There's no technology doing anything to remove the noise. Active noise canceling has a technology incorporated that does that. However, the catch is that it's only the type of noise that is kinda "white noisy" for lack of a better term. Basically, if the noise keeps changing in frequency and stuff, the headphones can't adapt to those changes quickly enough.

Yes, I did some research back when I wanted to buy some. ^^"
