The Count To Infinity - v12

ChatGPT works quite decent if we use it with productive purposes. And that's only good if we are aware of what concepts we are seeking to get extra clarifications. And that's just works out like this.

I used it for understanding something related to Hamilton-Jacobi and Action-Angle, and it explained it quite nicely, but not definitely like how our ma'am explained them in class.

There's another AI called Claude. People say it's good, but don't have any idea regarding this model.

I assume you're now letting AI do the maths? :P
Funnily, this is basically my job currently :)
(I'm no longer working in academia)

ChatGPT is very good for explaining things, including mathematics. But it's not good at solving advanced math problems.
However, I needed some quick code done, and I asked ChatGPT. I was expecting to have to edit some variable names or fix some minor issues, but actually, the code ran perfectly well!
Ok, it was not a huge 2000-line file, but still, I was impressed!

*wonders what happens if you ask something like ChatGPT to count to infinity....*

Was academia not your thing?
:sadwick::sadwick::sadwick::sadwick::sadwick:

I never really expect much when it comes to AI. Like, even these AI videos all feel so incredibly static, showing as little change as possible.
AI has great results, but mainly in research, because in research, we mostly have good databases. And of course, in the real world, the databases are... not good :)

I got no interest in AI stuff tbh.
Like I tried those AI image generators posted in various threads on here a while ago for a couple times, but it's always kinda 'meh'.
I tried one a LOT (100+ videos (don't ask questions)), and we had: uncannuy valley, wrong numbers of fingers / arms / legs, impossible movements, and awful visual artifacts in half the videos.

I always find it annoying when a website doesn't have a reject all button for cookies and throws a giant list of hundreds of checkboxes in your face.
I just back out and try to find a different one when that happens.

I think that actually an illegal practice that companies are doing there. They just do it, anyways, because it's hard to prosecute all of them. So, they just can get away with it.
I cannot assure that what follows is true, but I think Megan is right. In Europe, I heard that websites must display a "reject" button as big and as accessible as the "accept" button.

But anyways, I'm using Firefox and it deletes all cookies whenever I close it :)
