I personally appear to be incapable of doing speedruns lol
Even when replaying a Pokemon game I'll always end up exploring everywhere and fighting everyone even if all I need is a certain once per save legendary lol

I would say that speedrunners are more driven by try-hardness than patient ^^

I do the exact same thing when I replay a videogame (or in New Game +).

You could beat a game several times over playing through it normally before you master all the crazy glitchy speedrun 'strats' most games have.

The most speedrunning I ever did was the first level of NSMBWii. I got 1-1 done in forty seconds; that was my best time. Nowhere near speedrun records, though.

I am the opposite of speedrunning. I explore everywhere in all my videogames :O

I also explore everywhere in the games, though I am too much choosy regarding what I will be doing within any game. For example, I do explore every possible locations in Pokemon games, but still only catch about 17-18 Pokemon in total and then the game ends.

I am too much lazy to take efforts for finding every Pokemon especially after the fact that I know about those Pokemon a bit or few.

I like exploration in games. But I also feel like modern games kinda lost focus. And as a result it just doesn't feel as rewarding to do so. :(

You need to have a lot of patience to play a game impatiently for months on end! :P
