203212. We bought it in May 2009 as a "high-end" laptop, so it's fairly decent for a laptop, but it's meh for a desktop. Better than what quite a few people have, though. And it's my weaker system in terms of processing power. Still costs an arm and a leg to get my model as a refurbished one, though.

The battery was drastically cheaper than most of the other choices I had on eBay.
 
203214. Look at IBM's Lenovo lineup. Those are pretty reliable (compared to other laptops), from what I've heard, and they're a good value for the hardware you get, too. Though the warranty repair stuff is a pain (you have to actually take it in to a store that is certified by IBM to do repairs on their systems if it's under warranty and you don't want to void your warranty).

Other than that, despite a hardware fiasco a few years back, HPs are pretty reliable and are cheap. Dells aren't too bad when it comes to laptops. Sony is pretty reliable but overpriced.
 
I missed tonight's Real vs Barcelona match, but who cares. There are 3 more to watch in the next 20 days.
