Indeed foreigners are weird (no offense at all XD), but! Well, Australia doesn't have midterms, lol. We just have exams at the end of the semester, since uni is semester based, we have two semesters per year, so...

Oh and we don't necessarily have to have exams EVERY semester either. :3

The only obligatory, large tests we have simultaneously are taken like every fourth year.
Otherwise they're scattered just the way they want.

It's not like exams is the only way to determine grades.
