And I agree with Nica. You can jump on the bandwagon if you like, but you're kinda throwing away some form of individuality by doing that. I never liked partaking in collabs for that reason. XD;

You could just stay fascinated with the graphics in the collab and use them as inspiration for further work, though. =D

Ooh I remembered something else I wanted to say...

Vikalp, something I noticed about your tags is that you usually use a rather compact canvas size for them. I dunno whether you prefer that size over anything bigger, and I suppose it is a good size for experimentation, but why not try something bigger? It'd be a neat challenge.

I mean for my banners and junk, I tend to use a resolution of 450 x 180 pixels, or 420 x 120 if I wanted to make something compact. I guess it depends on what you plan to do, but it's up to you.

I tend to use an image of 400 x 150 or something like that. I prefer to use them coz small size is easier to work with. I can't seem to make anything good with anything bigger than that. So, yeah. :x

Ah, that's understandable. Maybe when you feel more confident with your graphics, you may want to try blowing up the canvas to a larger size to work with. I mean the reason why some banner makers like smaller spaces is because it's easier to create a scenery with their c4ds in a cramped space. With larger canvases, you may risk going a little off tune and rhythm with the sort of things you want to do because of all the empty space you're not used to seeing.

But just the same, it's not impossible to try breaking out of the comfort zone, going bigger and making something out of that. It'd be great practice and a good way to show off your graphics on a more eye-catching level. One good thing about bigger canvases is that it gives you more room to show off. Graphics is all about showing off, making everything look spiffy and in tune, applying what you feel will make something look gorgeous and just showing everything off.

So with that point, whenever you feel like it, give it a try. :]
