I can't say anything about the anime ending (my sister can, and she says it's not great... in fact she doesn't really like the anime in general. XD;) but the manga has an awesome ending. :D

Well, I watched a little bit of the anime, and noticed some of the characters' personalities are different than in the manga coughlyzergcough.
Good idea! I got two volumes of Shaman King for my sister for Christmas, because she's the one who managed to get me into Shaman King, though it was my pair on my main (Rossu-Pie) that mentioned it to me a million times. So by extension she's at fault as well.
