Normally I'd be upset/baffled at a new gen coming so soon, but I just want a main Pokemon game to play on my 3DS.

I'm a bit miffed that "BW" messed up the console order. I also attributed them like this:

RB(G)Y: Game Boy
GSC: Game Boy Color (yes, I know about the GS backwards-compatibility >_>)
RSE/FRLG: Game Boy Advance
DPPt/HGSS/{BW}: Nintendo DS

BW(Gray, RubySapphire Remakes): Nintendo 3DS is what SHOULD have happened. But now it got screwed up by BW. :\ Either way, hopefully, I'm going to be playing Gray on a 3DS. I plan on getting a low-cost DS Lite for Pal Parking, PokeShifting, and in case my Game Boy Advance SP starts to falter greatly... :(

It's like you people don't want Original Content. As far as I'm concerned, they caught up all the regions to the new IV/EV/Ability standards set by Ruby and Sapphire. No need for any more remakes.

And I'm hoping Pokemon Gris doesn't happen or at the very least is consistent and stays on the DS. It'll be a pain to have to spend ~$270 for only a slightly new experience.

I kind of want a new spinoff on the 3DS, one that will actually utilize the technology. GF has already stated they have no plans to move from sprites, and I hated the pseudo-3D spriting in B/W.

After RS3DS are made, then I can handle no more remakes because there really isn't a need for any post-Hoenn. I mean, right now, Hoenn is:

• the only region that hasn't been rendered in 3D AT ALL
• the only region that hasn't been able to implement the Physical/Special split that Generation 4 introduced into battle mechanics
• the only region where the Pokemon League members lack Generation 4-ish battle sprites AND VS Sprites
• the only region that hasn't been able to have any Internet functions, and is the region that gets ragged on THE MOST.
• the only region where the music is not up to DS standard
• the only region to not feature an extensive day/night feature
• the only region not on DS, period. >_>

And it's not like BW brought that much original content to the table, either...Triple Battles and a dynamic camera are like the main things. Not to mention the Scrappy Mechanic of having Berries only able to be grown ONLINE. -_-

And OC is OC. A new region, story, 156 new Pokemon, and other misc. goodies sure fit the bill of Original Content to me. Playing the same game again isn't. Which is why HG felt so stale after the whole "nostalgia" bit wore off.

For a second I truly thought I was on 4chan....

Anyway, I like remakes. They give me a way to play Pokemon and enjoy it, other than literally playing the same game over and over, or them constantly making new generations. Believe it or not, there will be a point where there's just too many Pokemon (this is how I eventually fell out of favor with Yu-Gi-Oh). I believe that's partially the reason why they chose to only have new Pokemon appear in Unova.

What a ripoff! What kind of society is this in Unova? You have to battle just to get your Pokemon some Pokemon food? And please tell me that's Berries 1-64 you get from Rangers and the Village Bridge, not some crappy cutoff like Berries 1-10.

I hope these can be obtained in mass quantity at one time, because even DPPt let you get like 15 Spelon Berries at once with proper care, as I've read.

If you're referring to the Pokemon, I'm not going to just stare at them! Giratina will drag them to the Distortion World to sever their links with their Trainers, of course, until they and their Trainers become proponents and join the awesome cause of supporting RS3DS remakes!

"Matching" what, exactly? :cer_confused: (pertaining to the Berries) ...I looked in the BW subforum's FAQ and I'm not seeing anything explaining it; neither is Bulbapedia helping... @_@ Please clarify this "matching" mechanic, if possible. WHY CAN'T IT JUST BE SIMPLY "PRESS A, PICK BERRY OFF OF TREE, GO HOME"? No need to make berry-picking, of all things, more complicated than it needs to be.
