No, no. There was a news report about a month ago IIRC where she said she could be writing an 8th, it just would be focused on Harry's children rather than HP himself.

Which I don't think, would be as good as the original 7.
 
ughh i don;t think I could stand it if she wrote a book on the adventures of HP's various childrens they mention at the end of book 7
 
Rowling is writing a companion to the series. An encyclopedia. She just isn't planning on starting it for a few more years or something.

edit: Aauugh, why am I so slow at posting tonight!? >:(

She'd better not continue the series. I was annoyed enough at the epilogue. Besides, that's what fanfiction is for. XD

LOL, that's exactly what I thought when I read the epilogue! I was like "Wow, straight outta FanFiction.net~" xD
 
I thought she kinda of coverd that in her spin off books the monster book of monsters and Quidditch through the ages

Maybe she was testing it out to see how it would suit with the readers. *shot*
 
@Gerri: Well, no, this will be a really in-depth encyclopedia from what I understand. But I loved those books! Especially the monsters one because of the comments that were "written" in it by Harry and Ron. XD

@Scarlet: Haha, I know! That was my first thought too. XD
 
It wasn't even written that well. Rowling said it was supposed to be vague, but to me it was... too vague.
 
HP just never really interested me in anyway at all. i don't like books about magic, and to tell you all the truth, i actually enjoyed the first 2 movies. The 3rd one took a turn for the worst in me, and i won't even go near a HP book. It would take me years to complete.
 
I think I got a first edition copy of monsters and where to find them, I'm not sure.
 
I actually kind of wish he died in the seventh book. Then we'd never have to hear from him and his fanfiction post-Voldy life ever again :3 Bitter, yes... but I'm honest. ^^;;
