Ehhh, there probably immaturish but I like them so =P

I just use smilies because I fear that people will take what I say seriously. It's happened to be quite a few times, so I'm pretty cautious now.

I've had that problem in the past before, but I dunno, it's easier for me these days to not come off as some dead serious guy without having to use them.

Must be my awesomely dry wit.

I guess it helps if you can word your posts right, I don't use smilies a lot, not in posts anyway, and a lot of people that have never seen me post know when I'm having fun and when I'm being serious.
And yeah, I don't know how you do it, I've never misunderstood you.
I'm just cool like that.

I think if you know a person well enough, you can discern what they're getting at without needing a "XD" or whatever random thing. I use them every now and then, but not in every freaking post like I used to years ago.
*Cough* XD

I love smilies, I use ";.;" "O_o" "O_O" "o.o" and "XD" all the time. And every now and then I'll use ":>" on MSN to make Erica happy. XD
But when it comes to graphical smilies... I can live without them, in fact I hate them. <_<;;

Graphical smilies annoy me so much. Most of the graphics for the smileys are kinda ugly, too. :< Not only did I disable them here, they're disabled on my MSN too. :D

Would Mr. Sir happen to be feeling a little sick? XD

Me too. I hate those things, I'm very glad I've disabled them.
Yes he/she/it is. XD

I'm also glad I got them turned off... now if only I could kill them on every post on PC. XD

Graphical smilies are awwwwwwful. <_< And PC's are absolutely hideous.

(MSN's are the worst ever though, I have them disabled as well.)
They are bad... And I was never fond of PC's Pokemon head smilies (not sure if they're still around, and not sure if you remember them if they aren't here anymore).

I need to go download WLM for this laptop so I can turn off smilies...

ahaha, I get that a bit. Gives people the wrong idea a lot of the time, since they think I'm being absolutely serious. I guess I should be more careful around people who don't know me so well :P
Yes, I remember them, and they're still here. >_____>;;

:os::fr::10::dragonite:psy copy::4::latias:

Someone is beheading Pokemon. x(

EDIT: Smilies disabled.. I forgot.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! whyaretheystillheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerre? ;o;

Those are so disgusting. Why hasn't anyone deleted them yet. You'd think Jake would have burnt them a while ago, seeing as they go against everything he stands for.

I'm way too sarcastic to ever be considered serious to anyone anymore. Usually I'm asked, "Are you serious?" because no one can tell. XD;

I prefer being sarcastic though. :D

EDIT: Yay for having ugly smilies disabled.

Why are people so mean to the pokemon smilies? I don't like the generic graphical smilies but I think that the pokemon ones are so cute :x

I don't think I've ever gone a whole msn convo without using a smilie. I just like them <3

Thats so sad! D: We should go on a hunt to catch this little, ho....well lets just keep all the pokemon safe so that the person drives himself even more off the edge because he cant kill pokemon! :D

Serious now, why are those there? Are they like, a default on PC?

I stopped using smilies in my posts on this forum long ago. I no longer see any real use for them.

-comes out of lurking- hmm your still alive, I dont Mind the smiles though, alot better than some of messengers.

Cause they suck. Someone grabbed a bunch of sprites, removed the bodies in some paint program (definitely not MSPaint, it's too awesome), and then presented them as emoticons.

Do any of them even convey emotions?

Did you happen to check out the rules while you were lurking? Your post is off topic and spammy to some degree - short *action* posts are not permitted.

I Did being that It seems to be with the site/fourms, which leads to everything, to me being older members, I will gladly out stretch it to your liking though.

Ha ha ha ha. The entire time that I've been at PC, that's pretty much the most unprofessional thing that I have seen. Seriously, get them off the site Oo;;

Start jamming with some Pikachu faces that convey emotion xD

The "Pokecons", as I call them, are cute.
But, I'd rather use the typed emoticons.
[ EX. XD, ;3,x3,n-n.. etc]
