I think, to a lot of Western people, pocky is more about status than anything.

They now sell pocky around here, but it sounds gross, and I don't want to try it.
 
It's not that bad at first, but it's nothing amazing like so many people make it out to be. Some of the "gourmet" flavours aren't bad but... the original? Ugh, no thanks. XD
 
I haven't had Pocky in a long time, so I'm pretty sure I still have a tolerance for it.

Speaking of which, there's this awesome candy store near were I live called Sugar Fix ... I think. Anyway, they import candy and other sugar filled goodies from all over the world and have all these different sections for different types and it's quite the candy store oh yes it is indeedy.

Wow, I'm getting hyper just thinking about it XD

Also, there was a "sugar free" section all tucked away in the back corner of the store XD
 
Yup Your Right, maybe we're just a breed of people that go crazy (alot more than usual) after eating sugar, hehe sugar-free who needs that when you got all that other candy :D!
 
The only good candy they have for sale here is mints (yes, it's that bad). Everything else is soaked to the core with sugar.

I think I've had Pocky before, though. I used to really like it, but since it was only sold in a foreign country that we visited only once a year, I couldn't have it as much as I would have liked. They do have a rendition of it here which they call 'Rocky', but I'm too frightened to try it.

Mild chocolate is great. I find it to taste a lot better than dark chocolate, at least. And definitely better than dark orange chocolate (who on earth had the idea in the first place?)

Which is why you brush your teeth after eating chocolates? ._.

I love chocolates but I don't eat fatty stuff nowadays.
