Really? XD It must be different for everyone, because it works really well for me and the headache is gone within 10-15 minutes of drinking it.

Sounds like this is one of the world's many mysteries. :x
 
My mom blames caffeine for everything. She blames it for any ailment I get even when they're COMPLETELY UNRELATED. :( She bans me from Coke fairly often, as a result. And yes, for a month since she thinks getting it "completely out of my system" (which should only take a few days, wtf) will help me. Never does.

But... when I visited the doctor/hospital a few years back about my migraines, they did say specifically that I should cut down on any caffeine since for once, it really is a catalyst. XD
 
Yup. Migraines are a tricky lot. For some people, caffeine is their trigger and will induce some nasty ones, but it also often helps, thus the fact that it's in many medicines for it. (Like Excedrin.) Acetaminophen, how I adore thee.

I'm just glad I don't get them like my mom. She's 10 times more sensitive than I am. She once had one that lasted nine days; DO NOT WANT. D:

Coke is the cause of all your ails? Maybe if you're super reactive or drinking that serious old school stuff with the actual coke it in. XD;
 
XD I know it's an unhealthy drink, but the way my mom sees it, it's going to kill me one day or something. But she still buys it so... she confuses me. :C

That makes no sense. If she thinks it'll kill you, why buy it? XD;

Sometimes I wish I tolerated Coke and the like. Diet drinks make me sick, but I've got a pack of Mentos and I'm dying for a little explosion. >w>
 
Diet drinks are gross, everyone I know raves about them but I'm not so sure

So many of my friends love them, but I don't want to drink fake stuff! (Or eat it. Diet anything is nasty. D|)

Plus, going back to the explosions, aspertaine (sp?) is mildly EXPLOSIVE. Who wants to put that in their body?!

Diet things dont even work 90% of the time, Its all about will power.

Explosive?, Why do you want to eat that?,
 
I hate the aftertaste of diet drinks. It's so gross, but I'm really not one to pay attention to ingredients or anything, so the aspartame's never bothered me. XD
 
Diet drinks normally look all brown and sludgy which puts me off them :x

Is aspartame medication or a drink?

Aspartame is a chemical/ingredient and an artificial sugar marketed as NutraSweet, Canderel, and Equal. (All of which are equally nasty, IMO.) It's an ingredient in many drinks and foods, and is sold on its own, as well. Yuck. :|

No coke or anything for a month, what the heck. I'd die if I was forced off cola for that long. :[ Not literally, of course, but...yeah.

Diet drinks...I'd drink those only if I was really desperate for a drink and nothing else was around. Otherwise, I'd far rather go without soda than drink one of those, because I CANNOT stand them. I've had people try to shove diet versions of a drink I like on me and insist "It tastes just like the original!"

No it doesn't, I can taste the difference and it's a huge one, now go away. >:( Just because their tastebuds are apparently dead, it doesn't mean mine are.

Also, did you know that Diet Coke stops your bones growing? That's why kids aren't meant to drink Diet drinks.
 
Well, if he's in as good a shape as you say he is, he should be fine having Coke... Unless he's addicted to it. Is he?

Oh, has anyone here ever had Ginger Ale? The most addictive drink (next to Club Lemon) there is in the world.
 
Club Lemon is the most addictive drink ever made, once you drink it, you cannot let go...

Milk? I enjoy milk, drink it everyday.
 
My drink is Fanta, Icy Lemon is my Ecstacy. So is orange Juice

Miiiilk. My favourite drink after coke. XD We're out of it in the house right now and that makes me sad. ;_;
