I speak English... fluently, obviously. XD I'm okay in French. I've taken it since fourth grade, so I would hope so. I can read and write it aaaalmost fluently, though it helps if I have a dictionary next to me. I fail at speaking it though. D:

The only other language I know is Japanese and I probably have the ability of a kindergartener or something, lmao. @_@;

XD; You and me, both. I know enough to get by in Japan for...an hour or less. But, it's 10 times harder when you are forced to teach yourself. x__x;
 
I taught myself Japanese for a year or two before I started formal classes. I'd done a pretty good job, since I got 99% in that class. XD Probably lost my one percent on the vocab. (I mostly studied grammar on my own, not useful terms.) But yeah, after that first year my mark went down to 85% for two consecutive years.

I'm taking Japanese again in university, but I don't know what level to take since I haven't formally touched the language in a few years. D8 The most I do is translate the Japanese manga/books I import every so often. :B
 
I take french and spanish, I want russian though

That's still awesome. XD;

I look, about every week, for Japanese classes at the college. They offered them 2 years ago, but..now they only have Chinese and German. ;___;

I talk to my family in Japanese and some of them think it's awesome. But, some get all mad and call me racial things. XDD;

My parents were racist about everything japanese. See, 3 years ago i was like watching japanese gameshows, anime, japanese documentaries, etc.

And they said japanese people are the worst on earth. That is why me and my parents don't talk as much anymore. They said they were sorry and promised to give me $200 for two animes conventions i chose to go to each year.

Chinese & German in college? My High School Offers Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, German, Italian, and Latin.

Sorry, but I'm gonna have to agree with them there. Not about being rascist, but the fact that some Japanese gameshows can be..pretty effed up. Dude, my friend showed me these videos the other day about some gameshow where men in buisness suits just went around getting upskirt views of random girls out in public, then another where some dude stuck his um..'male reproductive organ' in a beehive..and won some money for it O_O;;

My parents are rascist. Not hateful, but they do constantly make comments towards white people which makes no sense, seeing as..I'm white ._.

They reffer to me as "Gringo" on occasion o_O

I have to agree wuth u there. They are effed up, but enjoyable to watch once in a while. Especially when the people lose =]
 
Some A lot of japanese gameshows are just....'what in the world were you thinking?!' I remember there used to be a gameshow on Spike TV called MXC. That was just crazy o.o;
American game shows nowadays are always about winning money. It's like we have to have a ploy to want to play a game. :|

MXC!

You do know that is Takeshi's Castle? They just pretty much messed up the format for that show when they renamed it and changed the events of things. Believe it or not its still on that channel once in a while.

O..M..G YES!! I completely remember that! The show itself wasn't what made it funny, it was the annoucers in the back just, dubbing over what people had been saying that made the show so..awesome O_O

Exactly what i mean by this

..Did that get Cancelled? ._.

Agreed - U used to be a fanatic.

As for a topic midway through the page; I take Latin, English, Irish, French and Portugese.
 
Green Ranger was always the coolest. Had his own Dragonzord and the dagger flute he played was always hypnotising-ly melodic, PLUS he became the White Ranger in season 2! That's just butch.

Nostalgia kinda hurts...

I hate those dubbers. The show is funny without them - they just sound like a bunch of morons.

The Green Ranger wasn't around all that much though, like only a couple of episodes really, so he couldn't really have been the coolest. Funny though how the White Ranger did become the most popular ranger after his introduction. I'll always feel that the Red Ranger is the best though.
 
MXC was so funny when I was younger. Used to stay up to watch them. Now, Ninja Warrior has replaced that.<333
 
I loved how on MXC theyd tell what the persons occupation was and I always remember on "He works at Jack in the Box as a curly frie straightener"
XD always makes me laugh
