I never heard the Japanese , so I wouldn't know. =/

Did Gary's voice change? If it did they picked a great person to do the sound because it sounds just like him in Kanto.

I didn't like Ash's new voice actress either... it didn't suit his character as all. His old one (Veronica Taylor?) was so much better, especially during the older seasons.

Veronica Taylor is right, do they change they change Ash's voice because he was getting older and they wanted his vocie to change? Or did Veronica Taylor and the others just quit? XD

It was because Pokemon USA took over the dubbing from 4Kids. They used some of PUSA's voice actors to replace the 4Kids ones.

I never watched Yu-Gi-Oh or sonic anyway. XD

I wasn't a fan of 4kids anyway, I watched re-runs of Jackie Chan, watched a couple of the new episodes of Pokemon, and that was it. It WAS WB, but they changed it to CW. XD

I stopped watching pokemon when they switched voice actors. the new ones can try all they might to sound like the old ones, but they don't even come close.

Some of them kinda do (Jessie & Meowth), but they're definitely not the same. I couldn't watch Pokemon D/P because the voice acting just annoyed me :/

I watch D/P, it brings me flashbacks of the GOOD Pokemon episodes. But you get use to the voices once you watch it for a while.

xD I want to find the old Pokemon episodes from the late '90s. Now those are the biggest waves of nostalgia. ^^;

I agree with you 110%.
It was just disgusting to hear it, let alone watch it.
I Miss Veronica Taylor =[
She was the best dubbed anime voice ever =]]]]]

..Dude, I stopped watching the show back when I was like..maybe 10? It used to be on the WB station (Which doesn't even exist here anymore XD;) after school up until then, but eventually stopped once I realized it was the same crap over..and over again every season. Basically the entire story was set up following this mofo ash who wasn't really even a likable character, his little pet pikachu who couldn't say anything other than his own name, ironically, and they both went around meeting people of little significance to the story, and finding little wild animals to beat the hell out of, and then throw little ball-capsules, taking them out of the wild, away from their families, and enslaving them to make them fight for people's entertainment. Pretty horrible concept, no?

I like pokemon, I mean, I'm here..right now, but the show never really appealed to me. I mean, isn't it time to just..end it now? Seriously, it's all been done before ._.

I tried watching one of the newer episodes, and upon hearing ash's voice, my initial reaction was something like "DUDE, WTF!? THEY EFFED UP HIS VOICE?! >O"

..I mean he's supposed to be like what now, 12? Why is his voice deeper than mine? XD

I love the way you put things, Mike. :3
xD I think Pokemon's reign of terror should be over... but hey, they're still making a load of money off those 2-D asian monster, so they probably won't be stopping anytime soon...

He should be like 17 by now. It's dumb and retarded to not let a child grow up:<

But in the show he looks like 12 :<

For some reason the games bore the hell out of me. Walk around > encounter pokemon > defeat it/catch it > walk around >go to a g.... blah blah blah heard it all before :<

The Anime still entertains me. It lost like all it's reason to continue airing though. It is the same thing over and over. I still get entertainment out of that though. Maybe I'm just weird. xD

I like the older episodes? XD; It's probably for the nostalgia. I loved it when I was in elementary school~ I'm still debating getting the 1st season boxed sets.

I can't watch the newer stuff, though. Like it's been said, I find it's really... repetitive. And I guess I miss the old days with Ash, Brock, and Misty. Tracey can come, too, because Orange Islands were cool, too. I tried watching a D/P episode, but I could only watch five seconds of it before I changed the channel. I just couldn't get into it.

I'm obviously not into Pokemon like I used to be. :/ Which is understandable. I have grown up, after all. Or... I think I have o_O;;

I never liked Misty, May, or Dawn. But, hey, it was fun to hate Misty. I just really, really hate May and Dawn. x_x;; They're all too much the same now.
