-Has a DS and needs new game to try- What exact rating would you give it?

I would give TWEWY a 9. Not quite a perfect 10, since a game has to be utterly and totally exceptional to get a perfect score to me, but it's definitely a must-have for the DS. I've barely been able to put it down since I got it at the end of April--just for the last week or so in order to play another game and now I'm right back to it. :x I'm just so hooked on it. It's really hard to describe TWEWY, but I don't know anyone who regrets having bought it or anything near that.

I've actually considered buying it as well as ...-searches for title- Etrian Odyssey II.
Im afraid to admit...Im one out of a million to really disliked KH no higher than 6/10 for second and 7/10 for first...is it anything like KH?

Tons of people dislike KH. XD; But TWEWY, despite having similar-looking characters (Nomura isn't that creative anymore XD), is nothing like it. The battle system is completely different, the plots aren't similar, it's just... everyone expected it to be a lot like some of Square-Enix's other franchises but it's definitely a stand-alone game and it plays like one too. :x

Well, by the sound of it, I can't wait to play it. I know what I will be buying once I get the chance...

After reviewing more and visiting its page...its worth a try, I like its music setting...though despite what Nomura says, None of the characters look Japanese/In Tokyo besides minamioto..

Well thank you for your time giving experienced Information..I hope it wont be a disappointment Like KH series. Late reaction but -nom nom to your banner-

I honestly hated TWEWY when I started playing it. It wasn't until the second week that I really started to get the hang of the battle system and get into the plot, and then I was pretty much hooked. And it's a good challenge - some of the late game bosses are absolutely brutal. Best game on the DS, next to Phantom Hourglass, in my opinion. I think I gave both of them a 9.3.

Phantom Hourglass was my other favourite game on DS. TWEWY overtook it since it wasn't ANNOYING to get completion in. I got so frustrated getting that last fish in PH, but I'm still enjoying every minute of TWEWY as I grind for the last items and pins. :B

I refused to play KH at first due to the fact that I didn't like Disney and Final Fantasy being mixed, and I hated how they child proofed the FF characters. Like Cid. He cursed all the time and smoked... The KH Cid was nothing like the FF Cid. But I played it kind of recently, and feel in love with the original characters, and in love with the game. :3

I don't understand how you people like Phantom Hourglass so much.
It's like, just annoying. Not fun. And I freaking love Wind Waker.

My favourite DS games are Pinky Street KiraKira Music Night & Pokémon Pearl, anyway. :3

By all rights, PH shouldn't be that great. The dungeon designs are pretty crappy, sailing still sucks, and the stealth sections just go on and on and on. But still...I don't know what it is, but I had so much fun playing it. The touch screen controls work really well, the boss fights were fun, and the graphics were jaw-dropping to be for the DS.

I really enjoy(ed) Phantom Hourglass. >: I've only gotten to the second dungeon, but it's still pretty good.

I never seem to have the time to pick it up to play though. :/ I guess that goes with all my Zelda games though. Never beaten a single one. XD;

PH was fun, but it was far from my favorite Zelda game. I think more time went into the graphics of the game than developing it. I love me some graphics, but I would prefer a game that didn't seem so... rushed I guess you would say.
