Pluto ;_; I still call it a planet, and the young generation can boo all they want.

Here's what I think. Earth will end up like Venus (full of poisonous gases) and we all move to Mars (well, our children's children) and it ends up like Earth, and then of course like Venus. The end.

Until then, I'm just gonna enjoy myself as much as possible B)

And due to that earlier wish for a fountain of youth, we'll all be around to make the move! :D

I guess so, You put into perspective the future of Space Colonization XD
Also at first I was also against the decision to call Pluto a "Dwarf Planet" but decided what's the difference in accuracy =/
But yes let's enjoy our very short lives =P

Wish for a fountain of youth? Oh... the wish topic XD

I'll definitely get myself a nice apartment in a big Marsian City, with a view of the stars and reddish fields and mountains in the distant... and I'll get a Marsian dog with unearthly long and spiderthin legs, and I'll walk it with a bubble of oxygen on its head in the dusty streets.
What a beautiful future.

Maybe we should find some aliens before the need to move to Mars comes, so we can take over their planet instead :D

I'll be laughing at you from Jupiter as you guys suffocate and run out of Oxygen on earth.

Or you know..not. XD (SATURN FTW)

Wow, okay, new topic...

Homework sucks. Period.

DO NOT CHANGE THE TOPIC! >x( *gets emotional*
I'm taking an introductory course in Astronomy =) It's kind of interesting.

I have no homework to do until the next semester. However, I have tons of stuff to read and revise.

LUCKY.

I have so much catch up work to do. Like that essay that was due on Monday... and that vocab test I never finished... I hate being a Junior, this is when it counts and I just don't do it for some reason. -smite the manga shelf-

Okay, I'm a space geek. So I'm sticking on that topic just to reply to a few posts. :P

My favorite was always Saturn..sweet rings, yo. I kind of liked the orange tints it has to it; I do hope we're able to explore it further some day, although if it really is just a giant ball of gas then siiiigh..
I've always liked Saturn as well. And Cassini is getting some cool images of it already. For instance, its hexagonal hurricane!

The problem with space colonization just as they said in Crosstime Traffic (Recommended read)is that we'll be just moving our problems here on Earth to the planet we're colonizing. D=
Somewhat true, but not completely. See, the thing with Earth, and with each of its smaller ecosystems, is that overpopulation can become a big problem. For example, in school I had learned about a species of bird/rodent in Newfoundland, whose numbers were getting too high. As a result their numbers would ultimately decline due to poor health, overcrowdedness, new diseases, not enough food, etc-which are all related when you think about it.

This is already happening with our own species at the moment. Many new diseases are becoming introduced to our societies, in addition to others becoming much more common than they were in yesteryear(West Nile, SARS, AIDS, cancer, etc). And there soon may be a lack of healthy drinking water in the coming years.

So yeah, moving some of us to another planet would be a good idea, if at least to redistribute the population. Not to mention the fact that Mutually Assured Destruction would no longer wipe out humanity in one instant. ^^

We'll be able to go further than that, XD. Maybe not Jupiter itself, but it has a few nice moons that we could take over(Ganymede, Europa, etc.-though Io may be a little too hot for our tastes, XD).

Umm...Jupiter has no oxygen either. And furthermore, its gravity is so intense that you'd end up a two-dimensional form of yourself. XD

But Mars rocks the most, for obvious reasons. And that reason is Rei Hino, aka Sailor Mars. =DDD

As for the new topic, I unfortunately have no 'homework,' but I have exams coming up next week. So I'll be busy studying for most of the time until then. But after that, no school until mid-January! foxyay :D

I think we'll have plenty of time to do that...I mean, space exploration is still very young. I'm sure we'll have time to search all the ins and outs of Earth before we think about colonizing the moon or mars =P

In exactly two weeks, my fall semester is done with and I can go home and relax for a month. =D ...It's going to be quite enjoyable.

Now I just gotta finish up all my papers and study for my finals >.<

:D I finished my "finals" a few weeks ago :)

Since then I've been jigging like crazy since we're just at school to wait for the results of our SC :/

I have a two-week holiday for Eid, a week of school, then a three-week holiday for Christmas and New Year :D

Eid and Christmas? Where are you from?
Eid is 3 days. On all of these three days, I have a test.

1st day, December 8th: I have Astronomy final exam
2nd day, December 9th: I have Genetics final exam
3rd day, December 10th: I have German final exam

Owned I am.
